My partner and I camped here in spot 45 in a tent. I'm always worried about going to campgrounds that allow both tents and campers/RVs because we like to experience true nature with the peace/quiet there, and some places allow generators to be used. I was especially worried since we were there during peak leaf peeping season! I am happy to report Maple Haven was beautiful, peaceful, and it was really nice having a camp store so close that provided many things one might forget to bring. They also had campfire wood in a covered space for purchase! Even though some of the campsites are close together, our campsite felt quite secluded from the rest of the campground - it was AWESOME! We did luck out and not have any tent neighbors in the 2 sites next to us too, so I'm sure that contributed. I'd stay here again!

We had a nice, peaceful stay at Maple Haven, but that was likely due to it being towards the end of the season and there were plenty of vacant sites around us. We were next to a group tent site which was a little noisy but not excessively, and they were respectful of the quiet hours. Choose your site wisely if you are RVing as they do vary somewhat in size and shape. The people in the office are very friendly. The on-site breakfast place has s limited menu but the food is really fresh and tasty. Games room and playground. We agree with dome of the other posters on the shower blocks, which look a little tired and the urinal in the gents was not working. We didn’t need to use them as we had a full hookup site, but we would have begrudged paying $2 for s shower. There is a dish washing station, plus two outdoor showers. Located just a few minutes walk to the ice/sand castles, and there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. A trip to Kancamagus Collectibles is highly recommended - gifts and a cool, free motor museum in one. Plenty of hikes nearby. Flume Gorge is a must-see.

The Maple Haven is a neat little campground, and isn’t too unreasonable with the prices. It’s got an ice cream shop, and a restaurant by the name of streetz, which actually has incredible food. The hours differ, but they have a site (StrEatz) which should have all the information regarding their hours. They have electric and water sites, and theirs Wi-Fi that actually goes pretty far. The indoor shower does not work and has mold in the cracks, the urinal looks like someone is investigating a crime scene and hasn’t been active for who knows how long. There are much nicer bathrooms on the left side of the campground, probably the nicest camp ground bathrooms I’ve ever seen. But if you are looking for a relaxed camping experience, with a decent amount for you and your company to do right on the campground,The Maple Haven is a decent choice. But if you have a women named Cheri at the counter, you mine as well walk away, she treats running a business like a game of doll house, and clearly has no clue on what she’s doing. She has a blatant bias for rich people and only wants wealthy people to stay In her campground, so if you are a middle class individual without the nicest rv on the market, good luck.

Would have been a perfect visit except they don't enforce quiet hours and the bathroom kept running out of toilet paper. The site was beautiful. Little small but manageable with our large tent and SUV. The stream was peaceful. Ice cream was delicious. New bathroom was roomy and clean. Showers were expensive and handicap shower needs a bench. Camp store had many good essentials. Location was great and beautiful

The campground is clean and staff is inviting and very kind. Would have given it a 5-stars if it had a pool. But the store and restaurant and ice cream was fantastic. Bathrooms were new and clean, keep it up. Location was perfect as not in the center but just far enough for a very short ride to hikes, waterfalls, and entertainment. Great place!!!Nearby activities: Between Franconia notch and Kancamagus highway is the perfect area.Food & drinks: Great restaurant and ice cream!!

This place is near clarks trading post. It also is near a great tubing spot on the Pemigewasset River. The camp ground does not have a pool. But has a small pond you can dip in to cool off. It is super cold but refreshing. They have a playground that is pretty nice and kept in good shape. There is a game room with several options, how ever they are very close together and some do not work properly. Air hockey holes don't all have air so the puck gets stuck often. Ping ping paddles rubber pads are hanging off. But we still had fun. There is an ice cream place on the premises and it had good ice cream. We stayed in a cabin this time. Very nice and sturdy. Sleeping for 6 and a table. No water to do dishes or clean anything close by. Long walk to do dishes. It would be nice to have a spigot available to the Cabins. There are a lot of rules, but it makes the place run smoothly. The people that run it are friendly and available. There is also a restaurant on site that serves breakfast. We didn't get to go. We like this campground mostly for its location. I wish they had more activities for the group. That would be very nice. We will definitely be back!Nearby activities: Clarks trading postPemigewasset RiverHobo railroad and mini golf

Stayed here for 3 nights on a river tent site. They have a new nice bathhouse but showers are expensive but clean. New ownership a couple years ago that is really improving everything. Staff was very friendly and they offer homemade ice cream. The sites are cheap and vary in levels of what they offer. We were pleasantly surprised.

Beautiful camping areas close to lots of fun adventures and sights. Bring your own shower though because they’ll eat your quarters and give you less than a dribble of water to wash in.

This is a nice small campground. It’s clean with a variety of sites. Some on the River. Others open field. They also rent primitive cabins. There is an ice cream shop which has great ice cream. There is a small limited store. There is a breakfast restaurant we did not go to so I can’t comment. The location is perfect. 1/4 mile walk to town. Minutes for some of the most spectacular Mountain View’s in the world. This place is also inexpensive as campgrounds go.
