It was LOVE at first lick! ?Our home is now filled with four more feet of love and joy thanks to Mary's Dogs in Northwood, NH. This incredible rescue organization and their team of consummate professionals went above and beyond to ensure we found the perfect companion for our family and visa versa. Words cannot express how grateful we are to Jen and the entire Mary's Dogs team for their tireless efforts in rescuing these precious dogs, giving them a second chance at life and uniting them with their furever families! We were so impressed with the way the adoption team took the time to LISTEN! They listened to the needs and the temperment of our current dog as well as our home environment and managed to match us with the perfect puppy!! It is also ubundantly clear that the team at Mary's Dogs takes their rescue work extremely seriously and does a great job at checking references, contacting previous vets, etc to ensure their dogs are going to a reputable, safe home. Our experience was perfect from start to finish, and my family and I truly cannot recommend them enough. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic establishment! Our family was in search of a new addition to our family. Our dealership had previously partnered with Mary’s Dog’s for an event, so it was our first and last stop. We found a sweet boy named Domino and within a week and a half, we are proud to have him as our newest addition to our family. All the staff and foster were extremely friendly, accommodating, and kept communication strong. Mary’s dogs is dedicated to their dogs and ALWAYS has their best interest as the main priority. The fosters are amazing and really dedicate themselves to these dogs. We are forever grateful to Mary’s dogs for matching us with the best pup we could have ever hoped for!

They made me feel like I wasn't good enough to adopt from them.

Adopted a covid 6th month old. H3 was very ferrel. I had a dog at home. Well the dog I had before the 6th month old dies within 6 months from seizures. Was told by Mary's if I had any problems they would help. They did not. They should be more knologible about psychological of dogs. The admistrator showed up at my job the first week I had the pup trying to tell me things I already knew... Not good on her behalf. Anyways the oup went to several trainers thar said he was so ferret they could not work with him. He ended up needing another dog to be with. Mary's adoption would not help. And scolded me. She said I let him go with you because you had another dog. So I ended up following my own instincts. Adope5ed through a different agency for companion for pup. He's doing super and very loyal to me.. adopty also doing wonderful.. Mary's adoption needs to check themselves. They definitely are not perfect but think they are.

I explained to them I adopted my pup of 15 years and she recently passed away. My vet and references were great and I received this cold and calloused response. Note that I live in a luxury apartment complex with a dog park and have a lake house in NH on the weekends. Most people where I live have dogs. This was the response to my application to adopt:Thank you for submitting an app and being interested in rescuing a dog. We will not be moving forward with your application. There are too many factors in your home that could affect the success of an adoption and we aren’t comfortable placing a dog in that situation.Mary's Dogs Adoptions TeamUpdate: purchased a Cavalier puppy from the top rated breeder in MA. So glad how things worked out. I had my identity stolen from filling out those rescue forms so be careful!

Staff were very rude and hard to work with. We ended up going with SPCA. Much easier to work with and SPCA is focused on what’s best for their dogs. We really felt with the SPCA that we were rescuing a dog not just contributing to a puppy mill making money from dogs. Using the SPCA, dogs come spayed with shots all for less money.

Stay away from Mary’s dogs. Their only agenda is to move dogs out regardless of if he/she is a good fit just to get them gone. Not only that, they are unprofessional and post inappropriate messages across their social media accounts obscuring truths about the dog’s history to manipulate potential adopters… stay away from Mary’s at all costs!

We lost the doggie love of our lives on May 23rd... Our hearts were broken beyond belief, losing Ben so suddenly. We are dog people through and through. Being that we are 100% all about rescue and adoption, we knew we would do it again, in memory and in honor of our boy Benny who passed. We immediately searched for a rescue that aligned with our values and ideals about dog rescue and adoption. Mary's Dogs fit the bill. We filled out an application, and went through every step with them guiding us along the way.We have had Dayna since the middle of June, and she fits perfectly into our family. She is a joy to love, and to be loved by her is divine. We are so very lucky. I do believe that everything happens for a reason, and what will be will be. We think that Dayna was meant for us. Since we are approved adopters now, and Dayna loves other dogs- we are now on the way to a second adoption through Mary's!We will always go through Mary's Dogs for dog adoption, and we will most definitely volunteer and/or foster in the future. The relationship that we have forged with some of the people that work for them is priceless. Thank you to everyone who has been involved in our hairy love story! Mary's is the best!

They were efficient and quick with responding to my application. My application was approved during COVID, which made it near impossible to find a time to meet and the dogs found homes quickly so I gave up and felt and it wasn't the right time. Any time I had questions they were answered and very friendly!

Our adopted Hound had multiple worms when we first brought him home about 2 years ago, He was skin and bones and had constant diarrhea. I asked if they were aware of the multiple kinds of worms and the diarrhea. We were told he was given dewormer (I verified this to be true by calling their Vet) and they knew about the diarrhea... Our hound is now a healthy weight and worm free. I was a fairly new dog owner at that time, I would make a massive deal about it now especially about the fact that I was told our dog having worms was normal, it's not. Someone from the company replied to the review, I wanted to provide you with more context. I left a review about this a few years ago but the individual we dealt with called and yelled at my wife in an awful way, she was so upset about it I decided to remove the first review. I never should have removed the first review.
