Parker-French Antiques is definitely the best, most important stop you can make along “Antique Alley” (Rt. 4) in Northwood, NH! From antique collectibles, coins, crockery, furniture, signs & artwork and more, if you are looking for the truly unique pieces to treasure, look no further! Plus Richard and John are an absolute pleasure to meet & so knowledgeable! Don’t miss this classic cornerstone experience, whether you are looking to buy or sell, or maybe both!

Top antique store, the dealers were very nice and they had very reasonable prices on everything. A wide variety of items to choose from!

I love this place. Have been coming here since I was in high school. Now I live out of state but always make it a point to stop here when I'm back in the area. Yes, it's mostly smaller items but honestly it's a nice change from the antique shops with mainly furniture- especially good for someone like me who can only take back so many things on a plane. You def need patience because it does take time to look through everything and not miss something but that's part of the fun. The owners and staff are all very pleasant and they have good protocols in place to stay safe during COVID.

I have been in here a couple of times in the last couple of weeks and although they have lots of venders and two stores next to each other fully stocked up it is hard for me to find anything worth getting. Seems like a large selection of items that are just sitting here and not moving. The paintings in the lower level of the West building are marked down to insanely low prices but are in the same area as what we assumed were over paid auction buys that no one can afford. Still, if you take the time you will find a treasure of two that is prices to be able to buy and not feel like you were totally ripped off. Not great staff, pretty much act like they dont want you there.

Well My wife and I were just passing through the area when I spotted this store (actually 2 stores next door to each other). I found such a large assortment of antiques and artifacts. I would almost call this a Museum with the wide assortment of things here you could actually spend hours looking. In the midst of my browsing I came upon a vintage japanese tin firetruck toy identical to the last detail of one I had received as a gift from a family friend when I was 5 (49 years ago) it was preserved perfectly. I was absolutely thrilled with its quality and after a small amount of haggling it was mine again. This is my personal story, to this day I could not find another even on large auction sites. The people here are friendly and knowledgeable of most all their items. If you like old things this place is as fine as it gets with very fair prices for their above average items. I hope you try them out.

Visited both Parker-French and Parker-French West next door in the fall of 2014. Enjoyed both locations. The stores are large with a zillion vendors (or so it seemed), so there was lots to browse through. After learning about "Antique Alley," our expectations were very high, perhaps too high. We had hoped to find more items of interest to us, but that is the nature of antiquing -- you never know what you'll stumble across. We found several items that we loved and purchased. I believe we were given a cash discount here, which many antique stores offer.

This is probably the largest antique store along route 4 in Northwood. That's even if you're not counting its cousin next door. Technically, there are two businesses. I preferred the West building myself (to the left/hence west I believe). It was much better organized and without any of the funky smells of its neighbor. It seems better run. I would definite go back to both, but I think I would be less inclined to buy from parker French (not west). Both stores are full of smaller vendor stalls which cuts both ways: it means potentially a greater variety of items, but I think it is also the reason that the store has so many small items and not too many large pieces. My mother and I felt a little overwhelmed by the sheer volume of stuff here. We're not pro antiquers and I am always loathe to start a new collection so it just felt like it was meant for specialized collectors. They did have some beautiful / fascinating items, but it's just a great deal to take in. I think we spent 3 hours between the two stores and I bought I few books (my major weakness). Now that I've had time to digest, I realize that some things might have been worth having a better look at.

As many of the antique shops in Northwood have been closing over the years, this has always been one of the big ones. Many shops seem to have closed and put their stock in Parker-French on consignment. I have read some pretty bad reviews on the place however I have been coming here for several years as my family and I collect antiques. I have always found unique items and the owners are very friendly and easy to deal with. I can't speak for other people but all of my experiences here have been positive and I have bought several different pieces over the years. They do give a better deal if you pay by cash or check so bring your check book.

Both shops are worth the visit. Some areas/booths look much better lately but some stay the same month after month (year after year) A couple areas on the 2nd floor of one shop have been closed off. I am not one for locked cases. Actually I don't even bother to look so the one level building only has a few dealer spaces I check out. Also there is a really great shop next door called DOMAIN. It is an 11 room cape filled with antiques, vintage items, furniture as well as jewelry, clothing, a couple artisans and lots of pretties & trinkets. So it makes it very handy to have THREE shops right there with easy parking.

This place sucks. The owner and his boy toy are hacks. They lie about the reproductions they pass off as authentic. The place never changes, same junk week after week. The staff is rude and disconnected with the younger generation.
