I pick up my scripts here and the pharmacy is great and never had a bad experience, until the other day when I went in and picked up advil for $7 went through self check out and it was acting different when ringing up it did go through but rang up as $41 one of the employees was acting suspicious following me around. I brought my receipt and acted a little off when I gave it to her she did call the manager up and got it fixed but beware with self check out. something fishy going on with that employee 🤔 the extra item was makeup hmmmmm odd

Don’t waste your valuable time driving to the store and going to the pharmacy counter. They are way too busy to help you and when they do it’s like you’re bothering them. No smiles and no how can I help you. You leave the counter saying sorry I bothered you.

A huge shout out to Brian the store manager for replacing 2 items that were shipped to me that were past their expiration date before the amount of vitamins could be taken daily and a knee brace that was too tight. You were patient and accommodated my request without a hassle. THANK YOU!!
A Loyal customer!

The pharmacist supervisor should be fired. She is not helpful and very rude. She must be the unfortunate result of a staffing shortage we are experiencing nationwide.

Not surprised by the low score. Not the CVS I used to trust. Sent to three locations to get medicine promised for FOUR days. Slow service. Had to wait for over TWENTY MINUTES only to be told they didn't have it after giving my pickup information as it was called in. Nice clerks thankfully. The only silver lining.

Your automated system is a joke. If you need to speak with the pharmacy you now have to drive there. Lol leave name and number for a call back. Most people can't carry their phone with them when they work. For the love of God let people speak to a human!!!!!

Pharmacy review only - I would give CVS Plaistow one star but, in reality, they aren't that much worse than any other healthcare experience these days. The staff appear stressed and overworked, and pass that on to the customers with an extra helping of attitude. I recommend doing your best to not get annoyed with them because that only makes it worse. Clearly, they have been complained about before and nobody cares, so getting angry isn't going to help you (I see reviews about the same employees from two years ago - and they are still there and still miserable). So, ignore the fact that they clearly see you and treat you as an annoyance, wipe the metaphoric spit off your face, and be as nice as you can. Occasionally, when I am overly polite and understanding, I get somewhere with them.

Really all CVS stores are the worst. I came here out of pure laziness because I’d forgotten to request a med refill from my doctor and realized I had an old refill still sitting at this CVS. It’s impossible to get help over the phone, there are long lines whenever you go, none of the staff care (because they’re completely overworked) and not to mention CVS is slowly turning into a terrifying monopoly. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Cvs in Plaistow was a joy to deal with. I was helped by Danny and Faith. They were both extremely helpful, pleasant, and very friendly and supportive during my checkout. Definitely my store!!!! Kudos to them both.

This review pertains to the Pharmacy only. My husband and I have been using CVS Pharmacy forever (over 30 years at least)The Peabody, MA CVS, then the Haverhill, MA CVS, then for ten years the Port St. John, FL CVS and ALL the staff at these locations were just outstanding. We were treated kindly, with respect, they actually listened to our concerns, they remembered our names, and we felt like we were friends with them all! We have moved to Plaistow and have been using the CVS at 4 Plaistow Rd, Plaistow, NH for a year now. Complete opposite experience! When I have had to call, (which I just did) they answer the phone with a monotone, unfriendly and annoyed attitude. They are rude and impatient and do not let you finish a sentence. We got disconnected and forget calling back...I was on hold for about 18 minutes and just hung up. Now, we all know they can see who's calling and they have the number. You would think that the clerk would take the initiative to perhaps CALL THE CUSTOMER BACK?!!! Knowing how difficult it is to get through in the first place! Nope!! That would require a modicum of critical thinking skills! What has happened to Customer Service??? I've ask to speak to the Pharmacy Manager several times and she is always "out on vacation". Time to go through the headache of switching pharmacies. CVS needs to fix this and quick!!
