I lost 80$ at home depot and an employee kept it safe. I have been going to the Plaistow Home Depot for decades and have never had a bad experience. I believe it deserves 5 stars

i wouldn't recommend this home depot overall. they have self checkout. the ambiance is nothing special. staff weren't particularly professional imo. the plants sale is a hit or miss.

This morning as I was walking in to the store, two young cashiers at the customer service was running around, playing like to kids! Very unprofessional! I kept going in Pick up a bunch of merchandise and came back to the customer service to pay for it! The girl was sitting on her desk playing around with young men.I told them I wanted to pay for my stuff. The young men told me to go to the other side I told him no, that I also can at the service desk. As I was talking to him he told me if I didn't stop talking he was not going to ring me up. I threw all the merchandise in to the desk and left! Another woman who works there, actually she working start to yell at me i yelled back and left! Management can review looking at the cameras video! We'll never go back to home depot. We're closing business and personal accounts today. Horribly experience!!

The people at tool rental were fantastic and so helpful. The van I rented was like new. I had the smaller van but it's still giant, in a good way. An entire day with the van is not cheap, but it's worth it. The gentlemen who helped me at home depot in plaistow were so kind, patient and answered all my questions. One thing was - they asked me to respond to an email question or survey about whether the workers do a good job. I never received this email question or survey. So I'm writing these helpful people a review here. You did a great job and thank you for helping me!

Macie in the garden booth was very nice to me the other evening .She was helping everyone in her neck of the woods. I felt like I was at Macies! :)

customer service is awful After telling them what storm door I wanted in in which color. They got it wrong . I called to make sure they had the correct color. They never changed it. Then it took another week for someone to come out and measure. I called multiple times about The quote for the storm door . Each time I heard i'm with a customer and will call you back. Today I got we have no one in that department you will have to call back tomorrow. Oh yeah and they charged me $40.00 to come out and measure.

I ordered $5800 worth of Trex decking from the Plaistow Home Depot in November and was told it would take 12 or more weeks to come in. Monday I stopped into the Plaistow Home Depot to check on my order because I had received no updates since placing the order and was told that the order had been picked up. Home Depot doesn't know who picked up the paid-for decking. Home Depot has no system to check on who is picking up the order! I was robbed of $5800 from Home Depot with no resolution in sight! I believe this was an inside job at the Plaistow Home Depot! Beware of prepaying for any order from Plaistow Home Depot! You could be robbed!

I did an online survey for Home Depot and when it was over they told me I would get a free prize, just pay shipping. Now they are charging me for different things that I never ordered and don’t want. I’ve had to cancel my credit card and apply for a new one, I hold Home Depot responsible for this company that they let represent them. SO DO NOT FILL OUT ANY SURVEYS FOR HOME DEPOT!!!! I used to go there quite a bit and even have a corporate account, now I’m going to go to Lowe’s and change my corporate account over also…. I HATE SCAMMERS AND companies that support them!! Jeff

In the past 6 months I spent over 7000.00 at this local store. I placed an order to be delivered because I got injured and thought I would save myself some headache. The driver never showed the day of delivery. Over 4 phone calls the agents kept pushing it on me as I wasn't home. 4 people were home that day all day. I ended up canceling the entire order after they tried to push it to the next week. I will shop local hardware and lumber yards now since Home Depot made it clear I don't spend enough money to matter to them.

My dad who is a Vietnam Era Veteran wanted to get a new Washer Machine since theirs went during this pandemic. The lady said that Home Depot hasn't been given discounts to Veterans on appliances in over a year. Really?? That is disgraceful. My father took his business elsewhere to Lowes where they not only gave him a 10% Veterans discount but are going to install it. They also helped my dad at the store since he can't walk good. Please stay away from Home Depot if you are veteran and need appliances. Go to Lowes where you are appreciated for your service and I personally Thank you also from the bottom of my heart for all that you Veterans do for us! Shame on you Home Depot

Last Friday we bought a 30x80” solid core wood door at HD in Plaistow. Unfortunately, the door was marked wrong by the manufacturer. It was only 78”. We called HD and the only other door that was marked 30x80" was also only 78”. HD called all other stores in the area and no one has the correct size. HD said they will order the correct size and have it shipped to us. In the mean time, they delivered a 30x80" hollow core door for us to use temporarily. Kudos to Chris, Mark, and the mill work manager (sorry, I forget his name) who all worked hard to correct the manufacture's mistake and make this customer happy.

Received amazing customer service from Christopher Raymond (Millwork Specialist). He was very knowledgeable and answered every question we had. He made sure we selected the correct products to use for our tub surround installation. A+++++
