“While visiting NH this summer, we bought a new truck and wanted to add fender flares. Called a few shops and it was clear Finishing Touches was the place to get the work done and the price was reasonable. Mark and Steve took the time to insure a perfect color match. The truck is Ruby Red which is a tough color to match. The turn around from drop off to picking up my painted flares was less than a week. Great customer service and the paint came out great.”

“I got tagged by an inattentive driver down in Bristol and sustained rear bumper damage to my car. Dick was recommended to me by my trusted mechanic (see review of Marty's shop at Wanakee Collision & Repair). Dick was awesome from the estimate (same day as the crash!) to scheduling to conducting the work several weeks later. The quality of his work was excellent and the bumper was fully restored. The color matched the original factory paint. You can tell that Dick really cares about the quality of his work. He was even able to save a few bucks off the estimate. Very easy to deal with and very communicative. Highly recommend this shop for any collision or paint work.”

“Huge thanks to Kirk’s Truck & Auto Centers, especially George.
My family was driving to the White Mountains over Memorial Day weekend when the splash shield under our Honda Civic came loose and started dragging on I-93. We had to pull over and called roadside assistance through our insurance. Kirk’s responded within about an hour on a holiday weekend Saturday.
George was incredibly helpful. Instead of just towing us, he got down on the ground and temporarily fixed the shield, then followed us to a nearby auto parts store to make sure we were safe. He helped secure it with zip ties so we could drive all the way back home safely.
He completely saved our day and weekend. Super kind, professional, and practical help when we really needed it. Highly recommend Kirk’s, and special thanks to George!”

“Went north with 5 Grandkids for a weeks vacation. My wife's GLK developed a misfire on the way up. Made some calls and ended up dropping the car at Kirk's on Monday. While driving it there I noticed that the front struts were junk.
Picked it up on Wednesday, coil pack was replaced new struts were installed...good as new!
Thankfully we had 2 cars with us!

“I was on a long ride up this way and had a wheel bearing fail on me. It was late on a Saturday, and they were the only shop around that welcomed me to come by to take a look - - everyone else said "maybe we can fit you in." As much as I understand the shops are busy, 5 minutes to take a look to suggest if it's rideable shouldn't be a big deal.That said, this place is a little wild. Lots of vehicles and equipment around, making it difficult to even find the front door let alone get your bike into the garage. While it seemed verging on hording, I got the impression it was more about fixing things rather than throwing them out needlessly, and I appreciate that. Once you figure out how to get inside it's a bit of a treasure trove.Cal took the time to take a look at my bike, identified the issue quickly, and provided 3 different options at different price points for fixing the problem. He sourced parts and fixed it within a reasonable amount of time. Also no big deal when I had a shipper pick up my bike (I live too far away for the round trip).I'd go back here if they were closer to me, even if it's just to check out the older bikes they're working on and hear some crazy stories. No attitudes or inflated pricing that I noticed. Good shop.”

“I was nervous using them after reading some of the negative reviews, but I was getting tires (at a very decent price) with affordable installation and not an oil change, and I was on a time crunch, so I went with it. Glad that I did. I scheduled my appt online about a week in advance, showed up and the tires were ready and they checked us right in… then we did some shopping while they kept us updated on their app. They paged when done and I was on my way with new (so far, so good) tires.
If I was relying on them for regular get-to-know-your-mechanic services, I’d want a bit more friendliness from people… but as it was, I had one purpose and everyone was nice enough. I wouldn’t hesitate to do another service here in the future.”

“These guys have been my mechanics for about 10 years on multiple cars/trucks and have always been fair, welcoming, and reliable. Tim is always looking out for the best long term care of my cars and is sensitive to the cost of repairs. Their mechanic even made an emergency lunch-time visit to the Wellington boat ramp to help solve a problem. Would recommend them to anyone. They’re busy, so work is often booked out 2 weeks but worth the wait.”
