Without question, the worst banking experience my partner and I have ever experienced in the last 30 years. I referred her to this credit union and could not regret it more. Hard to properly articulate how unprofessional these people are. But I'm happy to edit this review and go into detail if they want to reply and deny their absurdly improper behavior. I can just copy/paste our formal complaint to the National Credit Union Administration if they'd like. We have truly never experienced anything like this. Stay far, far away if you are looking for anything in the same universe of effective communication and respectful treatment. Truly sickening experience here.

Two weeks ago I applied online for a new checking and savings account. The automated response I received back stated 3-5 business days for a response. I emailed them about a week ago to follow up, and yesterday morning I received a response back from them again stating " Sorry for the delayed response, we process applications within 3-5 business days, thank you". I called yesterday and submitted again the documents they requested for my identity. Finally, a few minutes ago, May 31 2023 I was finally able to speak to a human after waiting over an hour for a call back from their 24 hour line, and the lady stated that they are a week behind in their system, essentially last Tuesday. I let her know to cancel my application because I cant keep getting delays like this due to needing a traditional bank account. My overall experience with Service Credit Union was very POOR. Apply at your own comfort level.

Hours are convenient and a true pleasure to work with when we took out our home equity loan. Wonderful, helpful people from beginning to end and made the process ao easy. I Highly recommend them!

Yeah this is a real bad credit union, service credit union, they dont care about americas Vets. wait till their true colors show. all they care about is that they respect all other countries before Americans. please consider using a good credit union read the fine print. there are others who truly care about Vets and todays service men.. service credit union dont care about you only your money!

I applied for a checking account and was denied a checking account even though I allowed them to do a soft pull of my credit and emailed all requested documentation. It took a few days so I decided to follow up by email. The customer service person had the nerve to get smart in their response. Long story short.. They denied me stating that couldn't verify my identity on my online application. Huh?? Come to find out after looking at there reviews I wasn't the only one that had an issue with this place. Please save yourself some trouble and stay away!!

Finally, a bank with hours that work for people who have jobs beyond 9-5. Great customer service staff too!
