Hit a deer on the road at 1am; completely wrecked the car. They said they would have a tow truck out to us by 2:15. We wait a half hour and they call back just to tell us they now have no one coming to get us. Why give us an ETA before you even have a driver??? They made us call the cops, who brought us a tower who took our car to a lot and then dumped us at a nearby hotel they SAID was dog friendly - but wasn't - so we are now stranded outside on a concrete bench. I called AAA back and they refused to send someone to bring us back to our car and tow it home, even though it's only 10 mins from the hotel and we are well within the 100 mile limit. They also suggested I go BACK into the hotel they just rejected us at, and this time, try to SNEAK the dog in. As if they would magically forget I have one. "I do it with my dog all the time." Thanks for the useless advice... obviously just wanted to get me off the phone.I don't know why I pay for roadside assistance - it is just as useful as burning my money in a trash can. Don't waste your time, they are just robbing you and denying you the service they promise.Update: they got a driver who brought us home 10 hours later (we live an hour away)...the guy was great, but maybe *don't* call it 24 hour roadside assistance, when in reality, it's a 24 hour phoneline to connect you to a person that will likely not be available until 8am.

If I could give it a zero I would. I been waiting for a town flamingos 12 am it’s now 5 am. Still no answered. What’s the point of paying them if they can even come at a reasonable time. I’m stuck in where nothing open my cell is dying and nothing is being done. I can’t wait to cancel my membership

Unknown policy switch up or lying workers.Called today to get a tow. I've been towed before when I'm not present with my car because AAA wait times are ridiculously long. Today they said that's not possible when I've done it twice but the service advisor on the phone claimed I was present at both times. Either someone way impersonating me or the person who was "checking my ID" lied directly to AAA.

I paid my bill by check, so I declined a receipt. The membership fee had quadrupled in the past five years. I asked for and received the two guidebooks for New England. They atare narrower than in the past. The clerk said they will soon only be available online. How convenient for areas with no internet or phone coverage. Plan ahead to print what you need and forget spontaneity on the road.

Charged my girlfriend 3 times in the same night after saying it was going to be a flat fee for the tow. Then we were on the phone with them for 45minutes and it took them another hour to get there. Could've put a needle in my a** and dragged my car home before they even answered the phone. I hope they get the bird flu, amen

Even with the travel insurance we purchased from them, when we cancelled our trip to the Grand Canyon due to Covid-19 , they did not refund $400 of the airfare charge which they booked through American Airlines. They book the trip through Pleasant Holidays which is a side company that AAA owns to deceive customers. They did not have to book air so far out to not allow us a to get a refund. We cancelled 45 days before our travel. Please learn from our lesson and do not use AAA travel, they do not look out for their customers. Why wouldn't they disclose that they in fact are owners of Pleasant Holidays? They are not transparent. Stay away! In the process of filing a formal complaint with the New Hampshire Attorney General's office.

When I called for an insurance quote, due to a free $10 Dunkin Donuts card I found out that I would pay less and get better insurance. The woman I spoke to was very nice and patient.
