I've been banking with Chase for years and was previously a Washington Mutual customer when they merged. The staff and customer service here at the Portsmouth branch are first rate. It's a modern take on business and personal banking with customer service at the forefront. I highly recommend this bank and this branch.

Can’t believe I am giving this bank 5 stars but they totally shocked me. I opened an account with Travis and he could not have been more polite and professional. I am an expert on banking and the industry and have known hundreds of bankers and was totally blown away with his class. Large corporate banks have lost this touch and generally treat you like a number hence the reason I left decades ago but Travis made me feel like I was working woth someone who totally cared and saw the big picture. Well enough of that. Five stars!

I recently deposited $400 (4x$100) into the indoor ATM and it gave me an error after buffering for a minute. The error was asking me to call a phone number to make sure the deposit went through. The cashier at the front desk couldn’t find a pending $400 deposit on my account. After speaking with the branch manager and calling the number the ATM had given me, my best course of action is to wait for the machine to be audited and if it’s $400 dollars over, then they will deposit the funds. This process could take up to 10 days. I have never used an ATM with this massive a flaw. Please use caution depositing cash into these machines. (Side note: the bills were valid, they were withdrawn from a different bank days earlier)

They kept trying to open me several accounts because they kept closing one every time one was opened and gave no explanation as to why I couldn’t open an account wasted so much of my time worse bank
