We got a rental vehicle, and we were shocked. Our insurance company is paying for the rental. The car has dirty stained seats, a dog smell, no floor mats, a windshield that was hazy, wiper blades needing to be replaced, and many chips and scratches to the car finish. We got a better vehicle almost new from Enterprise in Concord, but this Enterprise from Portsmouth, we got an older dirty, nasty car. The only thing good about this Enterprise is the person who brought the vehicle from Enterprise named James. He was very nice, understandable, and noted our complaints, the dog smell, and the nasty stained seats and gave us a break on the price copay. I warn others from renting from this Enterprise car rental. Ask your insurance company to rent it somewhere else.

Rental and service team were fine; cost for Sunday to Thursday was really high. We have rented from Enterprise for years and we’re blown away by the charges this time.

Excellent experience from the time we checked in to get the vehicle. Staff was very helpful and patient with all the questions I had. Vehicle was amazing! Great trip and will definitely rent another vehicle from Enterprise the next trip we take to Maine.

Best Car Rental Experience Ever!- I needed to rent a car for my vacation. I dealt with Ryan Cohen at Enterprise.I got a new Toyoita Camry that was clean filled with fuel and ready for pickup when I arrived.He couldn't have made the experience any better.

Made my reservation online and few into Portsmouth, NH airport on a Sunday morning. Note there are no other car rental agencies open on a Sunday in the area. When touching down I received a voicemail stating there were no cars for me. I got in line at the Enterprise desk at the airport to see what happened. The answer that they did not have the cars had not been staged correctly. So I had to wait while the rep went out to see if there was a return that had come in. He located on. He then cleaned the car to the best of his ability while I waited in a now empty luggage pickup area. Of course it was not the car I asked for as I had signed up for a luxury cross over and received a mid range Kia. If I was not lucky enough to get a returned car I would have to taken an Uber 60 miles away to my hotel and wait 5 hours until my hotel room was ready. Thankfully he made it happen but a REAL ISSUE when you book a car, get your reservation only to find out no car waiting for you.

I booked a rental through my employer/corporate account and selected Portsmouth NH. I chose the Pease Airport location. I called the morning of the pickup and it was the Mirona Dr location. Alex told me he would change my reservation to his location and a car would be ready for me at noon. I arrived at noon to see the building was not accessible due to COVID (I presume). I had to stand outside and wait for about 20 mins. Apparently the airport location works on a different system and so they had difficulty with the transfer. I told them I would run to the store and come back in a half hour. Upon my return, the rental was moved and was supposed to be ready to take. I looked at it and it wasn't even washed on the outside, there was bird p*** all over the back of it. The worse part of all of this is that there were about 5 employees inside and no one was doing anything. I spoke to 3 of them and expressed my concerns about not being given anything as proof of this rental. Since the original agreement was for the airport, they said they couldn't access it. Ironically, they could charge my card for payment without issue though.I called the Corporate office after I left and they submitted a ticket and promised resolution by end of day, that never happened either. On the day that I was due to return the car, I called the Corporate office again and she assured me that if there were any issues with over payment or anything else to call back and they would correct it.The most enjoyable part of this entire experience was returning the vehicle and learning a lesson. I will be sure to do some homework before renting from Enterprise again, especially the Mirona Dr in Portsmouth NH. I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU DO THE SAME!!

Outstanding experience all around. Pick-up and return were prompt with no hard sell of products. Rental Suburban was solid and clean. Had to return next am, but not charged. Have been renting with Enterprise for years with great results.

The car was dirty inside and out. I asked for a vw and was given a KIA. the VW was next to it. after a few days after driving a little I noticed a bubble om the tire . at first they said they didn't have a car they could switch me to. After going to the other location they had in Portsmouth I was able to get a car, which was smaller than I rented. Service was very poor

The vehicle I rented had some kind of mysterious dried liquid all over the steering wheel. The interior smelled like a wet dog, and both of the front floor mats were missing - and the floorboards were soaked with some kind of brown fluid that got all over, and soaked into, my backpack.

Enterprise ALWAYS has excellent customer service, vehicles are clean & reliable, and the check-in/check-out process is swift & easy. We have tried other companies, and we will never rent from anyone but Enterprise!
