Riddle me this. I dropped my car off the begging of June. June 5th to be exact and my appointment was June 6th did the hear from the dealership june 19th rolls around and told them I needed it back June 21 and when I called they said they knew why my car was squealing. I needed my front brakes needed to be fixed and my rear. So that’s cool. I went picked it up as soon as I left crazy it’s still squealing. Brought it back and they said I needed axels. Which is also fine but they had it for 3 weeks and never took it for a test drive. They just listen to me the customer where I said oh I think maybe it’s my brakes. So soft test driving it and figuring out that it was the axles. I paid for a new brakes pads and rotors when they didnt need to be done at that moment. When the brakes were not even the problem. Needless to say very frustrated and a very big inconvenience and they never even took into consideration when the inconvenience was I didn’t have my car for three weeks and I had to bring it back.

My partner ordered a car at this dealership and waited 6 months to be told they no longer make the color. Then it was resubmitted again breng told it would be first in production for 2023 model year.And 6 months later no word or even a build date. They took out every "extra feature" they requested too to make it sooner.. they don't reach out or follow up. Nada. Highly disappointed. Went to another dealership and were promised 4 months and a date.. lazy

Of my last 3 visits to this Service Dept, the only difference this time was I did not fall for the absolute BS services suggested. I brought in my 2019 Acadia Denali for an oil change and inspection sticker. I was the first to arrive at 7:30 am. Soon followed by approx 5 -7 gentlemen customers and 2 other women. Of the fellow women, one was elderly, the other Asian and spoke broken English. There is a reason for this level of detail. I was there for 2.5 hours for what should have been a pretty quick visit. In the meantime every single male customer came and went and was not approached with a LIST of items needing attention- save for one man who was suggested he get new tires, but no pressure was used- in fact it was the opposite. The service person merely suggested he look into getting them. The Asian young lady was told she required new wiper blades to pass inspection. Funnily enough, on my previous 2 visits, that were just months apart, I was also told this and SOLD them BOTH times. I did not realize the second time I had them replaced just months before. With COVID I was barely driving. When I got home and reviewed my previous service receipt- of which I keep all of them and have been going through them with my mechanic boyfriend, I noticed that I paid another $100 to have wipers replaced within a 3 month time span. Once I witnessed the conversation with the young lady and the service rep about the wipers, I began to really scrutinize the happenings in the waiting area. Myself, being given a list of expensive and unnecessary recommended services, yet again- The list of ridiculous suggestions included; Transmission flush at $310, microchip replacement for a newly found issue, by the mechanic, that my car is now giving a message it is not in Park, when it actually is, when vehicle is turned off at $415 (this was not happening AT ALL to me until I left Holloway on 3/21 and parked my vehicle- suspicious...? EXTREMELY!, PLUS replacing my entire HVAC control PANEL, when I mentioned 1 light sometimes did not go on.... @ $335.... The 1 thing I did allow for was the pollen filter change, as I was told there were mouse droppings and this is the only item that rang plausible since my car was parked day and night in the driveway rather than the garage, for a few months since my previous servicing back in the Fall of '22. As I mentioned my boyfriend is a mechanic and has been for well over 45 years. He owns/runs multiple auto businesses- jut not close enough for me to take mine to- until now! He will be bringing his Zeus diagnostic tool over this weekend and running it on my vehicle to detect all of its newly created issues. To say I am disgusted and dismayed that any company would allow for this behavior is an understatement. Holloway has lost a loyal customer. I most definitely will never return. Not sure yet if GMC has lost one. Jury is out on that, as I believe 1 bad apple should not spoil the bunch. However, the Yelp reviews alone show me I am not only sucker who was scammed by this dealership. I have sought legal counsel, and I am sure they will be very interested in the similar, multiple, negative Yelp and other website reviews I have found so far.

I did business with Lisa and Tim and they were great. They went above and beyond to get me into the car I wanted. I would gladly do business with them again. The costumer service with Lisa was great and them Tim worked hard to help make the delivery possible by traveling around trip about 4 1/2 hours. Again Thank You for all the help

Very disappointed with this place. They are the biggest crooks around. They lied to me several times and because of there mistakes I didn't get what we were told, and didn't do anything about it. This is the worst place to buy a car. Don't go here

My wife and I moved here from the West Coast and wanted to upgrade our 2019 Cadillac XT5. From start to finish the team at Holloway was first class. Kudos to Wayne our sales manager, Tim our finance manager and Bobby who provided us with a wonderful education on our XT4. ?

After shopping around I decided on the Portsmouth location. Why? The moment I walked in and spoke to Larry who is not pushy and not aggressive. I said I will be buying my vehicle from him. I took a test drive and was sold. Larry is very knowledgeable and is so helpful. Less than 24 hours later they are doing all the paperwork right down to the trading of my vehicle. I went in the following day and drove off a happy camper! I look forward to a long relationship with Holloway and Larry. Thank you, I love my car.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Holloway Cadillac. From beginning to end, it was terrific. A big thank you to Mike Vohnoutka for being an incredible representative of the brand. During the paperwork process, I got to work with Tim D'Agostino who was also wonderful. Just an overall great place to be and I will refer all of my friends.

I just took my car to get serviced at Holloway on Route 1 - the have the best service department I have ever encountered. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, they offer you a ride home and the best part is when you pick your car up - It is immaculate! Needless to say, the mechanics do a great job too!

If your looking to buy a car , definitely give Holloway Cadillac a try , easiest car buying experience in my life , got the car I wanted ,for the price I wanted, financed at the rate I wanted , Delaney Philbrick was my saleslady and she was awesome ? great customer service and absolutely no shenanigans !! I will definitely be back
