The hours on Google do not show that they are closed for lunch from 12:00 - 12:45. I went there and was informed (very rudely) that they were closed for lunch. I can accept they close for lunch (Put a sign on the door). I cannot accept being talked so rudely by a medical professional. I will never go back.

Website, Google listing, sign on the door and hospital switchboard all say this location opens at 7:00 am Monday through Friday. When I showed up at 7:30am they were closed. Seems they open at 8:00am Tuesday and Thursday. Embarrassing.

Lab hours changed. They close at 4, not 5 like everything says. Good thing we looked and still wasted an hour and a half of our time.

Friday 12/10/21, I was disappointed that my usual lab at the Jackson/Gray Medical Building was closed, (apparently from a date near Thanksgiving until further notice). A temporary sign suggested visiting 155 Griffin Road (7 to noon), or 333 Borthwick Road.I arrived at the main entrance of Portsmouth Regional Hospital, to a line to long to be termed walk-in.

Are there cheaper lab services within a 5 minute drive? Yes. I chose it out of convenience. There was an issue with the coding of the services provided by my physicians office (same building). I communicated that with them. I was trying to resolve the issue and rather than communicating with me, they sent my invoice off to a debt collector. I get on their website and chat with a person in Pay Support and ask for a bill to be sent to me and was told to call the office and ask for one. I'm not sure why they make it so difficult. I'll pay extra to any company that treats me well, with respect, and provides great customer service. That is why I'll never use Portsmouth Regional Hospital Lab Services again.

Beware this outpatient lab clinic charges you as if you're being admitted to the hospital. I got charged a $250 copay each for 6 visits that took no more than 10 minutes to draw blood and have me on my way. They do not disclose this at the front desk when you go in for lab work. The hidden price gouging by facilities associated with Portsmouth Regional Hospital is disgusting. I will NEVER send anyone in my family to a Portsmouth Hospital facility ever again, I'll be driving the extra distance to go to Wentworth Douglass or Exeter Hospital.
