The phlebotomist (Liza) did not introduce herself. She called my name and directed me to a room. I read her name tag so I'd have it for this review. I used the kiosk in the lobby to scan my ID and insurance card. When I got back to the room Liza asked me for my insurance card. I stated "oh, ok let me take it out, I put it away because the kiosk scanned it, I thought I was done with it." She stated the kiosk for some reason did not read it (which is fine) but then the phlebotomist in the other room said something about "people not having what we need when they get back here." Liza then looked at my arm and started lecturing me how I should drink 30 oz of water within 60 min of my appt because my veins are small. I was hydrated(as evidenced by my BUN and creatinine results). I just have small veins. They are bouncy, but small. I think she just lacked confidence and knew she would miss the first try so placed the blame on me. Little did she know, I am an emergency room RN and I also do blood draws as well as insert IVs. It's okay to miss, but blaming the patient is not cool. My interaction at this center was very uncomfortable. I barely spoke because I could not wait to get out of there. Positives to mention are that the facility was very clean. Scheduling the appointment was easy and my results were back within 24 hours.

In the past I have had a wonderful experience at quest lab. Everyone has been kind and my appointments went smoothly,Until 3 weeks ago when I had an appointment at 7:00 a.m. that was fasting blood work. They canceled my appointment due to a power outage. I thought okay that's fine I couldn't get in for three more weeks for an 8:20 appointment fasting blood work. I just received a notification they're canceling my appointment due to another power outage. I find this impossible to believe

Had to schedule an appointment more than a month in advance to get a first thing in the morning appointment for fasting blood work. They call the day before with an automated message and say "oh by the way we're closed all this week". Next available appointment first thing in the morning is more than a month from now.

Okay, here is a bit of a rant. My doctor wanted me to take a specific blood test. I was instructed that only Quest Diagnostics could perform the test. So, I went to the local laboratory. The waiting room was empty, but I had to wait as I was a walk-in. I was told at the laboratory that my excellent insurance does not cover this test. So I asked the cost and was told they did not know. I left. A further check stated the test is between $595 and $1,900, depending on other factors. What happened to medicine in the United States?

Made an appointment over a week in advance, still had to wait 20 minutes past the end of my scheduled time. So much for "scheduled appointments take priority" which was blaring from a TV in the postage stamp waiting room. When I did finally get called back, the phlebotomist did not introduce herself and seemed very bored with the whole ordeal. She jabbed both of my arms and could not get blood. I told her I was hydrated and it hadn't been a problem before. She still was convinced that it was my fault and not her own ineptitude. When she went to get a coworker to try and draw blood from my hand, I said I would schedule for another time and left. I will not be going back. Huge waste of my time, and my arms hurt.

My phlebotomy tech was amazing!! Great technique when drawing my blood, and effectively resolved my paperwork problem. Good customer service ?

I was skeptical based on other reviews so I want to share my positive experience with the staff at this location. I checked in as a walk-in on the kiosk (remember your id and insurance card to speed this up) and it was easy. The system offered me an appointment 3 hours later which I declined and opted to wait despite system warnings it could take a while. There was one person waiting ahead of me and I ended up waiting 10 min or less. I was seen by Liza. The lab draw was easy. Unfortunately my PCP used the wrong code on the order, I needed specific testing for occupational health and the code was similar to my requirement but insufficient. I want to give a huge shout out to Liza for going above and beyond helping me get the correct order from the PCP before the end of the day so the lab didn’t have to be redone. I so appreciate her help and willingness to work with me to make this happen. Quest as a whole is a nightmare to work with - you can’t talk to a real person on the phone, can’t find the building, etc. but this was a great experience of a healthcare provider treating me like a human.

Facility is a lil odd and the automation stuff is annoying however Cariann was super nice and calm. I am scared of needles and she made it quick and easy. I was in and out within literally 5 minutes

Try to make an appointment with the automated system.... Good luck with that... Don't waste your time speaking to automated answering service. Find somewhere else to go

Walked into a clean waiting area, checked myself in on the kiosk, had a rep out to assist me within minutes. It was a painless blood draw and I've gotten most of my results back already - less than 24 hours later.I'm trying to better manage my healthcare costs. I found an online source in which I can order whatever bloodwork I need/want, and then I head to Quest for the draw. This one visit alone probably saved me a good $300.I will definitely be using their services again.

Quest says that they take walk in customers. I went there and after signing in on their automated receptionist, was informed by the machine that there would be a long wait, and that I should go home and schedule an appointment. Tried to make an appointment twice, but never reached a human.

Convenient...the staffer went the extra mile to ensure my records would get to the correct fax#...I appreciate this human and the associated risk to their employment...the automated booking system is meh...no replacement for the human touch...human on staff was exceedingly professional and the blood draw conducted was by far, the best out of 100s. I will be back!!

Have tried twice to have blood drawn for important tests. The first visit they didn't know I was coming. Made an appointment for this morning, my lab order was in the system but they could not draw my blood because they could not print the labels for the vials. 2 technicians tried to print labels and neither of them could. So, I have lost another 3 hours of work because of the ineptitude of this company. No receptionist, small waiting room with no room for social distancing, everyone must touch a tablet to show they are onsite. Not impressed with this company. Will never go there again. I would strongly suggest using another lab who has their act together, especially in light of the ongoing pandemic.
