Went in to upgrade (knew exactly what phone, case and screen protector I was going to get) and the sales people were completely unwilling to help. Most bizarre experience I’ve ever had trying to upgrade my phone in my 10+ years having Verizon! The employees essentially made it seem like they were accusing me of trying to hack/steal into or from my family account?! This location missed out on an easy sale and I won’t be returning to this one. So unprofessional. Not sure if it was due to it being 1.5~ hours until closing? Just wow.

Went to verizion portsmouth ri poor service the person acted like he dont want to help me i ask him to move game app from cloud to put on my phone he look at my 3 min said i cant i he put on my phone with widget . I new he didnt know what he doing went middletown took the guy 1-2 min to fix when told i went portsmouth vertizion he laughed

Have been dealing with headaches for 5 months due to a trade in at this Verizon store 5 months ago! The entire process was terrible and absolutely NOTHING went smoothly and the issues still aren’t being resolved even talking to customer service because of the screw ups from this location.

**See updates below** The guys working in the store were nice enough, but Verizon as a company is terrible. I live in Portsmouth, less than half a mile from 95 and Verizon would drop my calls routinely. It is mind blowing that the service can be so poor in a populated area, just off of a major interstate.Also, when you're ready to switch from Verizon to another carrier, be prepared. The experience is incredibly frustrating. The rest of their website works fine, but when you try to port your number out you'll suddenly receive errors. I was finally able to transfer my number. 10 hours after switching to T-Mobile service stopped working entirely. When I went to T-Mobile (new provider) to ask why, they looked up my phone and said Verizon had reported it stolen. Is this "punishment" for leaving, or a random mistake? I went to the Verizon store where the nice associate and I sat on hold for a half hour only to be told it might be unlocked in 1-3 days and they was no way to expedite the process. So now I'm stuck with a non-working phone thanks to Verizon. The best part is when the representative asked me what number they should call to inform me when I can try to re-activate my "stolen" phone. I was forced to purchase a new phone or go without service.This really happened.Long story short, avoid Verizon at all costs. T-Mobile is supposed to have much better service around the NH Seacoast. My experience at the T-Mobile store was excellent.**Update** It has now been 4 days since Verizon told me I would have my issue resolved in "1-3 days". I also filled out the complaint form on their automated reply below. Of course I have had no response whatsoever and my old phone is still not functioning. My old phone is worthless while it remains locked by Verizon - no trade in or resale value. I promise to update this review when my issue is finally resolved. Until then I highly encourage you to reconsider giving Verizon your business. T-Mobile's network has been excellent since I switched. It's unfortunate that Verizon has to resort to questionable business practices. If my issue is not resolved in the next two days I will be contacting the Attorney General's office to file a complaint and seek resolution. This is completely unacceptable.**Final Update on 3/14/23** It has now been nine days since my phone mysteriously was reported stolen by Verizon. I was originally told I would receive an email in 1-3 days. I still have not received an email. I completed the complaint form posted in the response below this review. I did not receive any response to that either. I decided going to the store was useless. Before contacting the state Attorney General's office I decided to call Verizon's customer support one more time. After two hours on the phone I was finally escalated to someone who was able to remove my phone from the stolen list...immediately. Fifteen minutes later my phone was working again. Maybe I didn't have to buy a new phone after all? Thank you for nothing, Verizon. I hope this review helps a couple people from dealing with a similar frustrating situation.

Cameron helped me upgrade to a new iPhone, and his customer service was exceptional to say the least. Cameron was very knowledgeable and made the transition go very smoothly. The whole team was so helpful and this is by far the best Verizon location there is! Thanks Cameron!

Gave me false information about a promotion, and charged me for an additional line, AND an additional phone I never had. Went in and got the "sorry call customer service we can't do anything here or see details on your bill". I made them print the bill and highlighted the issues myself and still got no resolve. Customer service then acted like they did me a favor by refunding me the ADDITIONAL 116.06 they charged me for something I never received. They wouldn't even knock off the activation fee because they "already credited me back the charges for the line that was activated due to misinformation" I have been a Verizon customer for a long time, but not likely much longer. After over an hour on the phone i finally got it mostly straightened out.The manager wouldn't even talk to me directly, only through the associate that told me the last time I was in there "we will get to you if we get to you" Thanks for nothing Tyler and cameron!!!

TLDR: this branch sucks.Went here once and had decent service when I was ordering a back ordered phone and transferring over an old phone from t-mobile. The service rep said to come back in when I received the phone so I did. When I checked in, the rep told me that he couldn’t assist with activating the new phone, porting my number from t-mobile, or taking my phone for the trade in. Instead he gave me a list of numbers to call and after 2.5 hours of frustrating phone calls I am maybe finished? Still waiting on an email with a shipping label, and waiting on the number to transfer. Oh and each service rep I talked to on the phone confirmed that all of this could have been completed in the store.-rant complete.

We had been told that there will be no “one time charge,”yet we still got charged, and although we visited the shop and were told that they were going to correct it they did no such thing. I call to Verizon chat line and asked to correct it, communication took more than hour (12:43-13:50) and still no answer.
