I took my car to Walmart for 4 tires that I had pre-ordered two weeks in advance. I showed up precisely on time for my scheduled appointment. There was nobody on the floor for at least five minutes, when an employee and his girl walked past me into the tire room (employees only) and got the manager to help THEM with paperwork, which took another 20 minutes, no joke. I had gotten tired of standing in front of them and decided to sit down in view of the desk. At no point was I greeted in any way. The cashier proceeded to finish with his fellow employees and started to walk back into the tire room when I asked him,"Are you the manager?", to which he agreed. He apologized for the 20 minute wait I had, which really never would have happened if someone had been at the front desk at my appointment time. I felt second-rate not even being greeted and having an employee take precedence over me. I'm not generally picky about this stuff...I don't struggle with feelings of entitlement. The manager was nice when processing my transaction, but the lack of good customer service is glaring. True, things like this happen from time to time, but really Walmart, you should be ashamed of yours. Other details...while shopping in the store I got a text that my car was ready. I came in to see my car still on the lift and the tires still being worked on. Fail, fail, fail. I was told it would take an hour to do the job...my appointment was for 1pm, I drove away at 3pm. Something just isn't right here. Cheap prices, though. The tires were adequately installed...a minor vibration exists in one tire that may be from a bad rim(new used car).

I needed new ? tires and I didn't want to spend a fortune since I am not that far away from trading in my car. (I'm just waiting for prices to decline a little.)The service representative checked the inventory and quoted me several prices on different styles. He made sure my choice wouldn't be "sold out from under me" and we scheduled a time. I returned for my appointment and waited in their tiny lounge area.I thought ? the wait time was reasonable. Others complained about the wait time. Walmart is short staffed and the desk is covered by working mechanics . I observed that all of the customers, including myself, were treated with courtesy.I've experienced poor tire installation before , and I have to include Walmart. They don't check the alignment before installation of new tires. Other businesses that have installed tires for me in the past have checked the alignment. They don't have the equipment to check and they don't advise you to check either. I felt rattling in my vehicle's steering column. A valve cap was missing off of one my tires. Two ⭐ s off of my review.

Customer service really is not that great, called a dozen times and no answer so drove there and they weren't busy and the person at check out counter was not to ambitious about helping out customers I can just say that.

Needed a tire replaced. I walked in they jumped right on it and had it done before I was finished my shopping and at an unbelievable price.

Used the car selection feature to get new tires online. I don’t know much about cars so I didn’t notice that the tires Walmart said were the correct tires were not. Of course I didn’t find this out until I drove an hr there to get them installed. The mechanic was unapologetic and inhospitable. He said my only option was to order another set of tires, which they didn’t have in-store for an addition $300-400. I’m supposed to be driving cross country in 3 days but don’t see that happening now. Not a good experience.

I regularly go to the Walmart Auto Center for oil changes and tire service and are very happy with thier service. The staff is always friendly, helpful and professional. They not only do the service I came for, but will offer information as to issues they might find. For instance, some of the tires I prefer are not stocked by the Walmart centers, so I purchase the tires on the Walmart website (provided by independent suppliers) and have them shipped at no charge to the store. On one occasion, the sales associate pointed out that the tires' date codes were beyond the industry recommended useable life (not Walmart's fault) and that they would refund my money in full, so I could reorder. Walmart prices are usually unbeatable and their service charges are well below the average of other providers. They work on a first come first serve basis and are they are very timely (unless of course you arrive during peak hours). ....and will usually be notified your car is ready before you finish your Walmart shopping experience. Bought tires 7 months ago - 2 of them have been replace and 1 patched, 1 tire had a defect and under warranty the tire should have been covered, they tried to convince me it was an alignment issue and that it was my fault - refused to even look at the defect in my tire that was leaking air! Bad tires at a rich company refusing to cover an 86 dollar defective tire - bs

1/19/2016: Review for the automotive center at this location. Terrible experience. An unnecessarily long wait over an hour, and then they said, "they couldn't know if I had a flat tire because the lug nuts 'were seized' on my VW Jetta."I took the car to Davies Tire the next day, and they had no problem getting the tire off and patching the flat. They also looked at me like I had three heads when I asked if they had to break any lug nuts off. I told them Walmart auto said, "they were seized." The mechanic at Davies Tire said none of them "were seized" there were no issues, and I had a shorter wait time and better service with Davies Tire! Do not go to Walmart automotive with your Volkswagon they don't want to help! And you'll waste two hours of your life.

Dealt with an employee in the tire and battery dept last week that chose to not only argue continuously with me , but squared off with me to a point that made me uncomfortable. He then told em he would argue with me if I wanted to until his shift ended as it didn’t matter to him . Spoke with store manager Melissa and she made me feel better . A week later I go in to resolve the original issue , and assistant manager helped me who was also nice . After taking me back to tire dept to straighten out issue , a new employee was introduced and she as well was awful to deal with . Arguing with me and rolling her eyes repeatedly at me . What an awful experience twice within a matter of a week . They need a new set of employees in the auto dept .
