Great spot here! Charming little “cabin” rooms. Made it so easy to bring the family dogs. Very clean, friendly accommodating staff, very “family.”
This throwback setup of individual cabin rooms just oozes timeless appeal. If you are in the area for chilling in nature you will be happiest here as you are just surrounded by mountains and trails to hike. Got little ones?…visit Santa’s Village just down the way. Room service here is a quick visit to the general store up the road which serves up great options all day and will outfit you with most of what you may need. (They’re everything from bait to breakfast!) Back here at the Mount you’ll be able to walk over to the lobby for something to hold you over each morning. Don’t miss out on one of the best places to look up at the stars! Will return and continue to recommend.

We wish we stayed longer than just one night.
Staff was so welcoming. Perfect for our family of 6! Maybe a little outdated but we didn’t mind one bit! We will definitely be back!

This motel is very welcoming and priced right. The view is great. We stayed in a cabin for one night with our dog- it was perfect. The grounds are spacious and well kept with a small playground and several grills available for use. It is a very family friendly atmosphere. The office/ owner is amazing. They really go out of their way to accommodate you. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I were making a trip from nj to maine! After leaving Rhode Island we wanted to do the auto road up mt washington. I called a day ahead and spoke to Dewald! AWESOME guy!! Put my wife and I in a great cabin with a awesome view of mt jefferson!! We would've stayed another day but was heading north!! Comfortable feeling, very relaxed and also met a very nice couple that had similar interest as well as driving the same vehicle as we are!! Highly recommend this place!! Only 20 minutes from mt washington

Highly recommend!! Our stay at mount Jefferson was exactly what we were looking for. Comfortable bed, cozy vibes, & great view. Dewalt was very helpful with local recommendations & very informative with local history as well. Would definitely return.

Stayed one night after a hike last week. It was ice cold, but cabin was preheated.
Slept like a baby, totally dark and silent. In the morning the pool was frozen over, but I sat with a cup of hit mint tea in the porch and watched the sunrise.
Cabins are clean, with fridge, stove, cutlery and cooking utensils.
Overseer leaves after 9pm.

Was a great place to sleep for the night. My only issue is the showers are a little small and unintuitive.

My family stumbled upon these cabins a few years ago and we've come back year after year for our vacations in the fall. We had an issue this year towards the end of our stay, but the owner went the extra mile to help make sure we were taken care of. I wouldn't go anywhere else in the area.

The office is extremely helpful. My son left his favorite pair of shorts hanging on a hook in the room. We didn't realize this for almost week. I called and left a message. I was called back immediately. The office checked with cleaners and were able to locate the shorts and called me back again. A friend in the area was able to pick them for us. Thank you! As far as the accommodation goes. The room was clean and comfortable. It is a perfect place to stay the night before a big hike in the White Mountains.

Very quiet night on a comfortable bed at a great price. Was super convenient for me to stay here the night before/after running the traverse
I’ll stay here again if in the area!

Great host and location but a tricky night’s sleep that could benefit from easy fixes.
Pros: big room, colorful, good bed, average water pressure, spotlessly clean other than carpet, unbeatable price, kind staff.
Cons: super sticky carpet, flimsy venetian blinds on one window let bright light in, good bit of road noise, tiny toilet seat jiggles to the side, sink feels pre-50s.
Awesome for hikers it but it is definitely one of the more dated motels I’ve been to in the whites.
