To whom it may concern,I cannot begin to thank Jackson Lumber & millwork enough for you wonderful donation of the wood to Paul Bernard Jr. & his crew to rebuild our handicap ramp for my husband & myself !!I was thinking maybe justnailing down the boards would help , but they really were a mess .. warped , popping up , easily tripped over .I didn’t know Paul would go this far as to ask YOUR company for help with this matter … I cried when he called & told me .As he probably told you , my husband, 77, ( of almost 54 years ) a U.S. AF Vietnam Veteran, has Alzheimer’s , along with heart problems .His walking gait has completely changed over the last 4+ years to very small shuffling steps .. typical of this disease , but very scary for me to watch ; specifically on the old ramp , trying to get him safely down it, to the car !For you to donate the wood needed to fix the base of the ramp was an unbelievable gesture of kindness & generosity .And Paul Bernard Jr. & parents & crew to come do this and a couple other things that had to be fixed was such a Godsend for us !!A weight has truly been lifted off my shoulders , and again I can’t THANK YOU enough for your help !Sincerely ,Leslee & Michael CunninghamThe AWESOME people that did all this work are listed below:From the Warrior Brothers MC Club :Paul Bernard Jr., ( who organized all this )Ben VincentTom ( OB)From American Vet ( VMC):Tyler NelsonAnd also the following people that were there working so hard :Paul Bernard Sn. & his wifeRachaelDonald Bernard ( Dad of Paul Snr., grandfather of Paul Jr. )Tammy Lewis ( Toms wife )( who worked her butt off too)Love to you all ?

Very nice place to unload at and very nice staff of people. In and out of there in 30 minutes. That included checking-in, opening up Conestoga and unstrapping etc.

My husband and I recently went to Jackson Lumber to get moulding and trim work for our home. The price was great and the product straight! Not warped! We were helped by three different employees and all of them were exceptional in customer service! Knowledgeable and kind. We will return. Family owned and oriented and it shows!

Worked at jackson for about a month. Was threatened with deductions to my pay for broken casings. Voiced my concerns to management and was fired 2 day before thanksgiving 1 month before christmas. Unmoral company, with no loyalty.

They delivered my stock to the wrong house half-way down my street even though my mailbox VISIBLY provides the number. Then, instead of coming right back or at the end of the day to fix, they told me it would have to be the next day. Nothing more neighborly than three pallets of stock blocking half your neighbors driveway. Horrible customer service and experience.

My first and only experience with Jackson Lumber was excellent. This was largely due to the customer service provided by Al Mazza, whose last day -- just found out today -- is today due to retirement. (Best wishes again, Al!) In the spring, I ordered decking for my condo. Al was very helpful and patient with me as he helped me figure out Exactly what I needed for my order since I had never done this before. Shortly after I placed my original order, I changed my mind and decided to order more boards to do a more thorough deck repai/replacement. Again, Al was very patient, kind, understanding, and helpful to me as he needed to add onto my order. Later in the summer when I discovered that I needed to exchange a few boards that were slightly defective, And replace them in order to finish the project, Al was very accommodating. He arranged for the boards to be picked up, he applied a credit for those boards to my account, and explained very thoroughly and apologetically that the fact that the replacement and additional Boards I needed were on back order and he wasn't exactly sure when they would be in. He said that he would be in touch with me again when he knew more. As promised, al followed up with me a few weeks later to make sure that I still wanted the boards. I told him that I did, and he said that again they were still back ordered but he was hoping to see them within the next few weeks. I just received a phone call from Al today telling me that the boards were in and they can be delivered to my home on Tuesday. Because of my experience, I plan to do more business with this company in the spring for a different project. Al has set the bar for customer service pretty high. I am hopeful that the remaining and/or new employees will provide me with the same stellar customer service that I received from Al Mazza. jp of Fremont, NH
