Best Vet I’ve ever had. Dr Sawyer is thorough, compassionate, and down to earth, plus she respects and loves animals.

Was 2 hours from home and dog needed to be seen for something she had eaten before it became a problem . Called fieldstone without being a current client and they took us right in. As soon as we walked through the door every single staff member was very friendly and provided excellent care for our dog.

We are new to the area and had a medical emergency with one of our dogs. Without knowing us, Fieldstone told us to come right over and immediately cared for our dog. They were kind, compassionate and much to our relief, our dog survived. Can't say enough about how well we were treated and how highly I think of them.

Fieldstone is amazing! Their compassionate, quick work to find us a hospital that would drain our cat's bladder, catheterize him, and schedule him for surgery the next day saved his life. Many, many thanks to Dr. Sawyer and the rest of the Fieldstone staff.

Absolutely love the staff at Fieldstone. They truly care about pets. Very responsive whenever I have had questions. I’m always able to get my cat in when something comes up because they don’t just keep accepting patients like other places do. Very very lucky that they are part of our community.

When I first moved to the area they were very good. Dr. Sawyer especially seemed to genuinely care. That was two years ago.Now I find the office/tech staff to be very rude and condescending - and that's if I can actually talk with a person. When I leave a message I'm lucky if they return the call in a week. When I need an appointment they're unwilling to work with me - it's either take what they have or leave it. And that's true even when picking up my pet after dental work. It was "pick him up at 4:20", and that was that. When I asked if I could come earlier (like 3 or 3:30, they said "can't you make 4:20?" Jeeze. Rude.)They've told me that they're very short handed, and I can sympathize with that, but that isn't a reason to treat their patients (who are paying top dollar for their services) with disrespect.Additionally, they don't want to answer questions - or I should say any time I have a question, they don't want any discussion to go along with their answer. I just had my cat's teeth cleaned and it cost me over $600. (Coincidentally I had my own teeth cleaned today and the cost was $305. - Go figure.) When I checked out and reviewed my cat's records, his weight was wrong and his age was wrong. Such sloppy admin work doesn't give me a warm fuzzy about their level of caring.

It really pains me to write this but, initially, our experience wasn't great. We moved to NH from VT last July and were on wait lists for months. At one point, things with our pup were getting worse and I left a voicemail and emailed a few vets, including Fieldstone - never heard back from them. Then, lo and behold, we got a call that they could take us as new patients. On our first visit, I called from the parking lot as instructed and sat in the car for an hour. In February. In New Hampshire. I had to call to make sure they hadn't forgotten about us. We sat in the car and froze. For an hour! Our initial visits were great with Dr. Stanley. See got down on the floor with our dog and really connected with him and tried to help us figure out what was going on.We never did. Through X-rays and ECGs, Dr. Stanley was awesome. And then she left. We worked with Dr. Sawyer over the phone and via email, adjusting meds, etc. Then, one morning, we awoke one Saturday morning to our best friend, dead on the floor.I emailed Fieldstone and told them he had passed. They were closed. I got that but we didn't hear from them until the end of the 2nd business day after they reopened and it was very curt "sorry for your loss" email. I would've expected a call from the vet asking for more info. If not to just make us feel better but maybe to ask questions and find out what happened - maybe they could learn something that would help them with another patient. Nothing.I even emailed them back a couple weeks later saying as much and still - crickets! This lack of compassion and bedside manner is why I would not take another pet to them. The hurt they caused stings longer than the loss of our beloved buddy.

I do not recommend this veterinarian. We ended having to switch vets because they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with our pug. It was urine stones and treatable but they were so stupid they couldn’t figure it out. Then my sisters dog had to be put to rest because they never figured out what was wrong. How on this day and age they can’t figure simple medical issues and let dogs suffer, is beyond me.

Very dissappointed. on 11-22-21 my old (18-19 yr.old cat) seemed to have a stroke and lost use of one of her front legs. I called fieldstone, where she is a regular patient and needed an appointment possibly to have her euthanized and was told that they did not have any openings today and that I should bring her to an emergency vet. clinic that was 45 min. away because she was probably in pain! I live less than a minute away from feildstone hospital. I called Animal care clinic in Peterborough n.h. and had an appt. within 3 hrs. I will NEVER use fieldstone again and will be more than happy to let people know what my thoughts are.

Everyone is friendly and professional. My dog has never acted scared or refused to go inside like other vets we've been to in the past.

The kind, calm, humane manner of business at Fieldstone is excellent. I am delighted to have found them after using another clinic for 10 years. Dr. Sawyer is very patient and gentle with my shy cat, and very thorough and down-to-earth with her diagnoses and explanations. The pricing is reasonable and the office is open until 6PM which I find very helpful. I give Fieldstone the highest recommendation.

Not only professional, but caring. The doctors listen to me closely and offer good advice and/or treatment. One thing that really impresses me is the hospital is clean and odor-free. That hasn't been my experience with vets I have used in the past.
