“My daughter loves shopping at Salvation Army. The prices are usually quite reasonable and the staff are mostly helpful. My only complaint is with donations. One of the employees wouldn't take shoes, furniture or any of the hundreds of dvds we tried donating. Would only take the clothes.”
“This thrift store is so wonderful. A few years ago, my mother passed away. She had some really beautiful things and had collected quite a bit. I was dropping off donations a few times a week that I felt just couldn't go to a huge Goodwill to be tossed around in garbage and broken. (I worked for Goodwill for 3 years as a teenager). I live out West now and couldn't take everything my mom collected with me. I know it overwhelmed them a little bit, but the different staff people that I saw every day were so sweet and caring with the items I brought in and truly cared about my story and why I wanted her things to go to a small, local store that would truly benefit from selling her items. We grew up here as a family and it warms my heart knowing some of her things stayed here to be enjoyed by other families.”
“Very clean and organized. Went in the hoping to find a couple halloween costumes, did not disappoint! They had new and used items. Was able to get stuff for kitchen, collectible items, lamp. All the things you would expect at a thirst store. Prices are a bit pricey for a thirst store but would definitely go again.”
“Only issue I have is they don't always have smaller sizes or stuff for younger women and men, donations tend to be bigger sizes or clothes for older people, the store itself though is clean and the children's dept. is great as are the staff”
