Worked with Matt over in this location. Very pleasant and professional! Made my experience with uhaul amazing. There are many uhaul locations local to me and I prefer to drive over an hour away to deal with Matt at this uhaul location. This is now the 2nd time dealing with him. Absolutely amazing service. I'll be back again with in the month to where I know I'll be guaranteed great service!

Staff was extremely helpful. Not just to me. But while waiting my turn they were very patient and helpful to others being served.Appreciated their patience with me when I realized the trailer I rented was too big. Without a hitch (yes, pun intended) they switched to the one better suited for me.

Just rented a 10' Truck. Picked it up and it stank of cigarettes. The gas tank was empty, I'm talking low gas light on empty. And the furniture covers I requested were not in the truck when I went to pick it up. I returned it with a quarter tank of gas left in the truck like you're supposed to. But with the price of gas the way it is these days I feel like I deserve to be compensated.If I had done my homework I would have seen the 3.7 star reviews and steered clear.

Never in my entire adult life have I had a worse experience with a company, or a more incompetent or rude interaction with an employee. Their incompetence (and arrogance in spite of said incompetence) is absolutely breathtaking and cost me hundreds if not thousands of dollars, despite careful planning and triple checking on my part. Not only would I never do business with them, they should be completely shut down by Uhaul Corporate until new management can be found. Avoid at all costs.

Set up an appointment to have a trailer hitch put on last week. They didn’t order the hitch in time so we had to reschedule. We dropped it off this morning at 8:30 and were told they would let us know when it was done but made it sound like they were taking it right in. So we hung around Rochester for a bit since it’s only about a half hour job. Went back two hours later they hadn’t even touched it and said it would be another 2 to 3 hours.Another hour and a half later I was going to be dropped off as my ride had to go to work and then we were told their trailer hitch guy didn’t show up and blah blah blah. Why wouldn’t you just tell us at 8:30 this morning or when I popped back in OR just call and tell us when he didn’t show for work?!?!?! All you have to do is BE HONEST AND COMMUNICATE people. We are VERY DISAPPOINTED! We took the hitch and will be doing it ourselves (0000 stars)

Awesome place. Friendly staff. Regarding trailers/vehicles, easy in, even easier out. As for materials (packing/storage/moving supplies), has everything you need in one place and for a great price.

I rented a 26’ Box truck to move myself a mile down the road to a beautiful home. I got almost everything in the one truck load. I was very pleased with the truck I was given. Fairly new and very clean. I was only charged the $49.95 I agreed to on signing. No extra hidden fees. I would definitely use these guys again!!!!

We reluctantly used this Uhaul location after reading the bad reviews. We can share with you the negative reviews are accurate now. We went less than 20 miles over estimate because of in-climate weather for safety reasons off highway that was not salted with thick slush and cars sliding all over. Reasonable right? To make up for it we figured we'd put an extra $10 In gas OVER what we got it at. That's a minimum but likely $13-15 more in reality.You'd think having it less than 24 hours with the information presented here they wouldn't charge more right? Their business relies on fast turn over and it doesn't get any better than us as a customer bring back less than 24 hours. Less than 20 miles over estimate and more gas they charged almost $40 more. We factually presented this information above and the LONGTIME manager Chris stared as blank as a deer in headlights with zero emotion or reason and refused to be reasonable. We are local and know many people like anyone local.I'd say Chris's choice of not being reasonable has severely affected this location AND the one nearby he "manages" along with his staff that's also the same way floating between each as we were told by a female employee yesterday. I will not be offering business to these Rochester "area" locations Chris manages ever again and I'll make a point to share this widely. I'll also be sharing what I think in detail about Chris's poor decision making to corporate beyond his direct supervisor so there's actually accountability.It's principle not the $. Chris has full management authority and decision making according to Uhaul corporate. When he's already making out he will beat you down with $40 more each time. The female employee also strongly disliked taking video all around beforehand inside and out. Why? Because then they can't cheat you out of more. They want you to jump through all kinds of links and nonsense. News report = we don't work there and don't care about links you click dozens of times daily.We will be dedicated to make sure that $40 cost them 20 X. This is not the business mentality Rochester, NH wants. Unfriendly and cold with clearly no accountability or care for future business.I'm looking forward to offering even more scrutinized detail upon any response by them now or in the future. Records at hand and pictures of how they park vehicles rammed up against each other touching in the back. I wonder if they put that on customers? Pictures ready so please respond.If you don't take detailed video of every inch they will increase anything they tell you and it's their business model. Avoid at all costs.It's the principle Christopher. You've now learned. Lack of reasonability, no accountability for bad decisions in regard to customers and zero care for return local business. All about the principle. When you're ahead metaphorically speaking you beat people down. No thank you.THANK YOU FOR READING LONG TIME MANAGER CHRIS.

I made an appointment to have a trailer hitch put on my 2014 equinox a week ago. I show up today leave my car because they said it would take about an hour to an hour an a half. I go back in an hour and a half and ask if my car is almost done since we were at the hour and a half mark and the guys starts giving me a hard time about how busy they have been. I say look I'm just asking. He goes out an in 5 minutes comes back and says it can not be done and says my frame is to rusted. Well thank you for the hard time you gave me and the hour and a half wait for nothing! I will never go back there
