I just wanted to share how wonderful Susan has been every time we’ve visited the post office. She is truly the most friendly and welcoming person ever! About a month ago, she helped me mail out an important invitation, and she was so kind and patient throughout the whole process.
Yesterday, my fiancé went to drop off one more invitation, and once again, Susan went above and beyond. She was just as lovely and helpful with him. She accidentally forgot to provide a receipt with the tracking at the counter—but instead of leaving it at that, she thoughtfully mailed it to our home along with a note.
Thank you, Susan, for your kindness and for always making our visits so pleasant. You truly make a difference!

Get my orders delivered to house but by reviewing my camera there didn’t deliver big packages get put in a tiny mailbox and parts get broken there leaving out in the snow and rain even I have a closed in porch on September 28 according to them I got the delivery my camera say otherwise no one droped it of there just driving by my house with out stopping and didn’t place them at the mailbox where are the packages this is just wrong terrible service

I love the Gonic Post Office. Even being at a different location..As soon as shes you she would get your mail. It's a Great Feeling to have.

literal terrible service. schedule two appointments for passports only to get there and have the rude old lady behind the counter say she didn’t have me on the list. proceeded to wait another 20 minutes before the “supervisor” comes out and gives us a speech about how the website is glitchy and you have to confirm the appointment something like 3 times. He continues to tell us that we can continue to wait to see if there are any no-shows but they’re fully booked and obviously they don’t want to do their job. I probably wouldn’t if I worked here either though.

To everyone complaining about laziness and the problem with delivery drivers this is not the location you're talking about. Those issues are at the Allen Street location. The ladies of this office are very very nice and very very helpful and attentive

Customer service is bad enough you'd wish they privatize. One staff will go looking for packages for customers but the other will not and be rude and condescending.

Trying to have my license plates from florida and they couldn't even tell me what its going to coast even an estimated ammount. They just punch in and punch out no personality every time ive been there they just collect a check and get benefits that we pay taxes for and they can't even be bothered with us normal people.

Terrible customer service. In the middle of asking the employee at the desk questions about certified mail, she ignores me and moves on to the next customer as if I'm no longer there, and she pointedly ignored me when it was obvious I still needed assistance and I'm still standing right in front of her. I had to ask the other employee who was just standing around the rest of my questions, and she tells me to just go online. I'm asking them becauses I already went online previously and was unable to find what I was looking for. The first rude employee also tried to deny accepting several letters from me because they were postmarked last night, and if I had not pushed the issue she would have made me take them back and restamp all the letters?!?! All because she didn't want to "get in trouble for looking like she picked up the mail late". Not very focused on assisting the public, imo. Just shameful. Never again.

I have no idea what the first reviewer was talking about...Gonic PO does not even dispatch delivery from there--mail goes out from the main Rochester PO which IS lazy and incompetent. The Gonic PO is WONDERFUL and Claire knows all of the customers by name and knows more about PO stuff than does the Postmaster in Rochester!! She is a WONDERFUL PO employee!!
