“I tried out 8 different vets in the area before settling on Animal Health Center. I have been a client for almost 20 years now. I am a die-hard dog fanatic, active in dog sports (agility, obedience), well-read and educated about dog-related topics, and I do a lot of holistic stuff with my pets as well (I have a separate vet to guide me in that realm, but I've appreciated the AHC vets keeping an open mind about it). It's been important to me that I feel heard and respected, and I get that at AHC. We don't always have to agree, but I value the opinion of the vets here and I feel that they always have the best interest of my pets at heart. I have also found their prices to be competitive and the vets always willing to consider options that don't necessitate spending tons of money on tests or treatments. They have also been super responsive, by phone or email, to any questions or requests I've had. I believe most of their staff has also had training in "fear free" methods of working with pets, and that is reflected in their office set up and the way they interact with my pets. Choosing a vet can be a very personal decision, but I feel comfortable in recommending that you give AHC a try!”

But Dr. Madahar and the technician Molly were absolutely amazing with her, and my cat did so well there. They were both very kind, professional, and answered all my questions I had regarding my cat. “I love them. I have a toy yorkie Gizmo who is very small. 1.5lbs when I got him now he's at 4 months 3.3lbs. Gizmo has something stuck in his throat last week. I got in my truck and took him there. They referred me to a emergency vet that could xray him. He had a hair ball stuck in his throat. He's fine now. Thank God!I love Rochester Veterinary Clinic. They are so helpful, kind and caring!”
