my boyfriend and I went today 03/23/24 in the afternoon at petco 92 Cluff Crossing Rd, Salem, NH 03079, we went to look at the fish section to buy, we asked a guy who was sitting there for information on which fish to buy for our aquarium (he advised the fish) out of nowhere a girl who was sitting (wearing a pincer working with a fish jar also worked there) she was super ANTIPATHY AND ARROGANT entered our conversations, if we had asked her for help ok but we didn't, she came in talking about the fish, so far so good, when I got close to another aquarium to see the bigger fish, she was snorting as if my presence bothered her (she had never seen it before), I wanted to buy the bigger fish, but every time my boyfriend I asked the boy for help, she again entered the conversation with a very ARROGANT tone of voice, we had already understood the boy to explain, but my boyfriend needed to repeat it to me because I don't speak English but Portuguese and I needed him to translate, and the more he She talked to me, but she entered the conversation with a very arrogant and ignorant tone, and only told us to look at other fish because those weren't for our aquarium (With a VERY ARROGANT appearance, voice and tone)!! We no longer buy the fish because of the service, and we also had friends who wanted to buy, but we recommended other establishments because of the way we were treated, at no time were we rude, to work with customers you have to have friendliness and patience to know how to explain, I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THERE AND MUCH LESS TO HAVE IT HOW IT WOULD WORK.

They miss read the order and only had one of the two boxes of cat litter I ordered. On-line it had said that Arm and Hammer super scoop was unavailable but i saw it in the store (that was less expensive that what I had to buy).After all the hassle and time it took to place an order that finally said there was inventory (to get the 20% off pick-up order) one of the items was not available (I was not billed but thats not the point).

Petco in no Andover manager are horrible they have a sign in front of there dog food saying 40 percent off but when you get to the cashier it rings up reg price .cashier call nanai over final show up and said it only Ten percent off. . horrible store manager only car about them self no customers at all. Will never go back in that store for any of my business will ever got here again

I requested that the groomer trim my puppy to 1-1 1/2 inches. She shaved done to the skin and cut her whiskers off. Very disappointed. It’s been nearly two months and she still only has less than an inch of hair and no whiskers. That was our first and last time we would bring our pup there.

I had great experience with groomers Megan and Maria. The manager, however, is very rude. I had an appointment schedule for a bath and was told when I got there that it would be a couple hour because the scheduled groomer was very busy. I asked why when I had an appt scheduled, and was told those appt times aren't really valid, that the dogs are put in rotation. So my dog got washed and was put into a kennel to await her turn. I was very upset with this and told them I would never come back. The manager said "that's fine" and when I left I heard the groomer offer to bring my dog out to work on her and put the other dog in the kennel. The manager said, "No need. I'm not worried about it." There were other words said that I won't mention here. No wonder my dog has become more and more scared to be left at this grooming place. I will refer to others' reviews before I try another place. No wonder this spot has such low reviews!

One of her cats is suddenly fallen seriously ill and is dangerously thin. We went to the store and hope of finding something we could get her to eat. We met a young lady with funky blue hair who helped us tremendously and was so compassionate with our situation. I wish I knew her name!

I purchased the vital care membership for $9.99 a month, apparently you have to purchase one for every species .... cat, dog, reptile... etc ... will be canceling my membership

I've been going to Petco for my dog's grooming for years now, and we really, really loved Christina while she was there. So we ended up continuing to stay with Petco since it's nearby and convenient. That's when my dogs started to see Megan C at Petco Salem, NH. One of them, mostly because the newest is a pup, At first, let me tell you how great we thought she was. Nice, friendly, and approachable. She greeted the dogs very nicely, made eye contact, had conversation, and made my one who gets the works done plus a hair cut look so clean, shiny, and smelling great. She would come out with handkerchiefs or flowers on her collar. Well, that all changed at the very last appointment we had. I walked in with no Hi, how are you, there was no greeting my dog like usual. No eye contact. It was a quick; she'll be done in 2-3 hours, and couldn't get my dog out back fast enough. It was very weird, like a different person. I was instantly not a fan and pretty much just wanted to take my dog back. I came back three hours later; my paper was on the counter to go pay. When I come back, it was beyond awkward. There's no scarf or flower. No, thank you, and have a wonderful day. She couldn't wait to get my poor dog and myself out of there. She quickly turned her back and walked away. I get in the car, and my husband and one of my sons say, What is that smell? My dog came out of there looking like she was not bathed because she stunk, was poorly shaved, not like usual, not brushed out, and you could see hair all over her. She didn't look like she recieved her usual service. It was by far the most disappointing service. I've always been a very good customer and tipper, and then to have this happen is unacceptable.. We went right home and gave our dog, who was just groomed, a bath. The water was dirty; there was matted hair all in the water, and it was just plain gross. My poor dog. I spend $110.00 plus another 20+ everytime for this service to give it to someone that I thought was a professional dog groomer and clearly who thinks it's ok to wear there emotions or whatever it was on her sleeve while working in customer service. If you can't go into work as a mature professional, then I don't know what to tell you.. I'm just so confused by the weird treatment from her. Just so rude. The only thing I can think of that is still confusing as to why we received this unnecessary treatment is that a few weeks ago, I had no idea because I'd never run into the problem of my dog having to wait to get groomed 48 hours after her rabies shot. That's fine. It is the first time I ever heard of it, she had had it the morning before the appointment that day. I was never aware that a dog couldn't get groomed after that. Only because it's just never happened in that order before for me. So then the manager was saying, Oh no, we can't do it; we can't do her today. Yes, I was bummed. Was I rude to anyone? NO! Had I even had an ounce of communication with Megan C that day? No! She was grooming another dog at the time. The manager tried rebooking me, but I couldn't stay to figure out a day. I had to go to other appointments, so I just said, You know what? Forget it; I'll just call and I left. I had to be right out the door. I have a very tight schedule. It takes a lot for me to be rude and to feel strong enough to write a complaint that I never thought I'd have to write. So, going forward, Megan C and Petco will lose my business that I have given for years, and there will be no recommendations for your location or company period.

The idea of customer service is lost on these employees. No one was manning the registers when I started putting all my items on the counter. A girl walks up and says she can help me at the other register. I start grabbing my items and she just waits for me to come around instead of helping me move items to the other side of her. Then, after scanning everything and I pay, she just leaves. Doesn't even help me bag. Why not just have self checkout then?
