Steele Hill Resort is a beautiful and amazing place for a quiet getaway to clear the mind, offering many different types of spacious and phenomenal suites. Rooms can feature large jetted tubs, fireplaces, and balconies, with many facing beautiful mountain scenery. The location is great, being pretty close to town with plenty of nearby restaurants and shopping. The resort provides a decent amount of activities, especially for families, as it seems like a good place to take kids. The awesome indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs are a great way to relax and are not too busy. Other amenities include a market and an onsite restaurant. The food is excellent and delicious, with pizza, wings, and buffet breakfast receiving praise, though restaurant prices are noted as high. Staff are friendly and helpful, with prompt service for requests, though some maintenance issues like controlling heat or replacing lightbulbs may require reminders. The resort offers discounted stays in exchange for attending a vacation club presentation, which is described as a high-pressure sales experience that can feel like harassment. The sales tactics include guilt-tripping and persistent phone calls, which significantly detracted from the experience for some guests. Overall, Steele Hill Resort is a highly recommended, relaxing destination with excellent service and amenities, particularly in the summer, though the aggressive sales approach for its promotional package is a notable drawback.
Our rooms have been ok , not detailed to cleaning….The weekend of May 17th there was an event/ wedding here and the grounds weren’t even mowed.. Now it is Friday before memorial weekend and still not mowed… I feel like I made a mistake purchasing here!!!!

Nice clean room with kitchenette. Alittle dated but clean and big porch overlooking lake. For the price 9 out of ten. The pool was fantastic and look forward to coming again in the summer when all the available activities are opened up.

It was a first time being there. It had a nice view of the mountains and the lakes that shine in the morning. Devoid from loud noises. I think it'll be more exciting when it's warmer.
