Alright, where do I start here...Pros: The place is beautiful. The room we stayed in had the largest jetted tub I have ever seen in a hotel room and it was so relaxing. I didn't get to experience many of the amenities because I was sick, but they did have a nice pool, market, etc. that we walked by, and we did have a chance to get room service dinner and eat buffet breakfast at the onsite restaurant, both of which were delicious.Cons: 1. No elevators. 2. The sales people. My goodness...we signed up for one of the discounted stays in exchange for attending the "vacation club" presentation. (It's "not a timeshare".) My husband and I have both worked in high pressure sales before, so we know how all the tactics go ("if you buy today", "here's how this is personalized for you", etc.) and that these people are probably working on commission. But there's a point where you just have to chill and accept that someone is just there for the free stuff. The presentation and the tour were great and the guy was so nice, but when we said we weren't going to buy it was like a switch flipped and he started freaking out like "so you're never going to vacation again?! you'd rather spend more money than buy this program?!" etc. and looked like he was going to cry. Do I feel bad that he couldn't make his sale? Of course, but that's not my problem that your job pays on commission so relax and don't take it out on me. We got out of there, got our gifts and thought that would be the last of it. (Still waiting on my food credit.) But no, they called the next day and tried to sell me their trial package over the phone and continuously asked why I didn't want it...like dude, if I didn't buy it while I was there I don't want it now. It makes me want it even less that you're pushing it on me this hard. Like I was planning on potentially staying there again to experience the amenities, but after the extra phone call and still not getting my food credit, that won't be happening.Overall, is the discounted stay worth it? There's a point where high pressure sales turns into begging and you just look ridiculous and start verging on harassment. If you're ok with tolerating this and can continuously say no even when they try to guilt trip you to the ends of the Earth, go for it and take the promo.

Scam, called and set up a promotional stay for $69. They stated I needed to sign document to make valid, then changed my card $670.02 for not going, stating they had verbal authorization. Disputing with my credit card company as they were no help.

It was a nice quiet getaway with some friends and their children. Seemed like a good place to take your kids with a decent amount of activities as long as the weather is decent. The pool and hot tub were nice and not too busy the times we went. Also, it's pretty close to town with plenty of restaurants and shopping.

Steele Hill Resort is an amazing place to get away and clear your mind. Great service, excellent food and the pools and hot tubs are a great way to relax. Bring the whole family the kids will love it.Rooms: There are many different types of rooms and sizes. You can get a room with a hot tub in it to relax. Also you want to get a room with a view most rooms face the mountains and the scenery is beautiful. Some rooms do not have a view but are still very quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend especially in the summer.

It was freezing when I went. I never did find the pool. Was told it was 4 buildings away my 2nd day but that I couldn't get there from my building with out going outside. Not very ADA accessible. Lots of stairs, no elevator. Also was way up in the mountains which I'm not a fan.

Could not control heat. Service to clean bathroom vent and replace bathrm lightbulbs needed us to remind main desk. Apparently, they forgot about us. Prices in restaurant high. Location was great. Request for additional towels and toilet paper was very prompt.

Location is very nice because of the scenery. pool is also very nice. That is the only good things I can say about this place. HORRIBLE customer service, I came with my boyfriend and another couple for a weekend and we speak Portuguese. We were talking to a lady at the desk about the time share offer and she straight up told me I needed to speak english to have a time share offer, very unprofessional…..I am American, born here and speak english fluently, I should not have to say that but for someone to only offer you certain things if you speak english is atrocious. To use the pool you must have a “reservation” and can only be there for 90mins at a time. All in all, come here if you please but be aware that rooms are outdated, customer service is trash, and you cannot use the amenities as you wish.

The housekeeping employees are rude. Especially the manager!!!! And the employees obviously weren't trained correctly because the rooms are ATROCIOUS!!!Rooms: OUTDATEDNearby activities: You need to drive at least 20 minutes to get to any activities except hiking on propertyWalkability: You need a vehicle to get any where on propertyFood & drinks: Way too expensiveNoteworthy details: Serious changes need to be made. This used to be a great place and now it's just horrible

Huge campus. Lots of walking trails and things to do. Nice pool, only 5 foot deep; small bar for adult beverages. Lots of stairs with varying levels. Great views of Belknap mountain range, partial veiw of lake winnisquam. Great sunrise/ sunset potential. About a 10 min drive to/from Winnisquam Marine.

Stayed with my son's and his family for the night. The pools, saunas and hot tubs were amazing. The rooms are clean and have everything you need for a long stay. The restaurant had a great bar tender and the food was hot and delicious.
