Great place friendly service. I think there rates are very reasonable. If your a welder or glass blower they have the compressed gas you need.

What great customer service! Jamie and the dispatch head went so far out of their way to accommodate my last minute request. I misunderstood delivery days for a new shop in a different location and tried to order too late. I really needed my nitrogen tank replaced for an event the next day and they changed their entire schedule to get me what I needed. Jamie was gracious and friendly about it every step of the way (despite my wheedling). We've worked with ArcSource since we opened and will continue to do so! Thank you all so much!

Two not so great experiences. First time I swapped out 2 tanks of mig gas. One bottle was correct mix and the other was 100% argon. I didnt realize it until i was in the middle of a project 2 months later when went to swap tanks. Second time I showed up just before closing on a sumturday which I hate doing but it was the only time I could get down here. Go to walk in and the doors are locked 5 minutes early. I wouldn't have tried if it was going to be more than just a quick acetylene swap.

The company I work for I found out today got completely ripped off by arc source. Last year I brought a gas powered welder I have had since new to them for a repair to the charging system. They called my office to tell my boss what it needed. He ok'd the work then later , told me it needed a muffler too. I'm like, what the hell is wrong with the muffler , it was there for a charging issue? But , whatever, I needed it back. 1200$ later we got it, new muffler and all. I ran it, but was disturbed how loud it was. That week my boss took it back and asked them ( arc source management) what was up. Their response was " these thing are loud anyway". That was that. Fast forward 6 months when one of my guys was using on a job . I noticed it getting louder and louder, like the new muffler was falling off. Why? Because it was! Today I was at our equipment mechanics shop where we were looking at the machine and how badly they butchered it and tried to hide their screw ups. They most likely , out of carelessness broke the muffler and the bolts holding it on. They tried to drill new holes in the motor to bolt the muffler down to the head. What a bunch of lying hacks! If they had said in the beginning the job was a bit over their head I would have used our equip guy, even though his location is double the distance away. Now we have to weld up the head , drill and re tap the correct holes and bolts to get a muffler on we never needed. Turns out , they never needed to remove the old one to work on the charging system in the first place! As long as I live I will never, ever recommend even buying a striker there. Morons and crooks run it.

If how they treat the individual consumer is how they treat their contract clients I would not be surprised if they lose business. I called on 12/3 and spoke to a very nice gentleman about ordering a Hypertherm plasma cutter for my husband who gave me a great price and said there was no need to pay upfront. He stated he would order it and it would be in by the end of that week and I could pay when I picked it up. Well the end of the week came and went so I gave it a full week until I called back. I called on 12/10 and the gentleman I spoke to said they had to check their warehouse and would call me back to ensure it arrived. 3 hours later no call back so I call again and am told it was still "on order" and to check back, mind you I told them I needed this by 12/20 and I ordered this almost 3 weeks ahead of time. Well today I just had an inkling there was something not right. So I call this morning and am told the product I am ordering is now "on backorder" and they have to call Hypertherm direct to see when it would be back in stock-that was over 4 hours ago and still NO call back. I called Hypertherm direct to figure it all out who were BEYOND helpful. They said the item I was ordering was in fact IN STOCK and could ship to ArcSource as soon as they ordered it. So why hadn't they?! I am a paying customer, granted not a massive account of theirs but I am bringing business to them. Melissa at Hypertherm was so helpful and able to give the name of another distributor who were EXCELLENT, friendly and CALLED BACK when they said they would call back. I have ordered the product and they are shipping it directly to me. Over 4 hours later and still no call back from ArcSource, I wonder if they will EVER call me back-doubtful. Moral of the story, consumer or large company looking to do business with ArcSource-don't do it. If they can't follow through with an order someone has placed or have enough decency to call someone back while investigating their order you'd have to wonder what the rest of their work/business ethic is like. Thanks for nothing ArcSource!
