Tony is a crook & only cares about his money. back in April I was in an accident which caused my car to be a total loss. all the interest rates were insane around this time (still are) so I was trying to find a cheaper car that was still decent. I decided to try Calef Auto for the first time and I've bought 3 other cars before from other dealers w absolutely NO issues. I went against my better judgement as I really needed to purchase a car due to now being June and still not having one. Anyways, I found a 2017 Ford Edge on his lot, it was overpriced but still cheaper than others so figured this was my best option. I had my grandmother with me and we decided to take it for a test drive. During the test drive, we noticed a very loud rattle that was coming from the front passenger side ). Not only a rattle but the breaks were metal to metal and you could hear them grinding against each other & when you pressed on them the car would shake and the brakes felt like we were driving on a rumble strip with how bad it was. I also noticed a few burn holes and other cosmetic issues. When we got back from the test drive, I explained everything, he tried to tell me I was wrong & insisted I had no idea what I was talking about. I tried to ask him to join me for a test drive to show him why I was talking about but he refused. I told him I would not buy the car unless these things were addressed. He told me to come back that following weekend and everything would be addressed. When I went back, he told me he had replaced the front breaks and they were brand new, did an oil change, popped out the dents, and fixed the rattle but I would need to bring the car back if I chose to buy to fix the burn holes. I test drove the car again, the breaks seemed a little better so I figured oh they were just fixed I'll give it some time, the rattle was still there but not as loud, a couple of the dents were popped out but the others he said he could not do. where I was a little nervous about if he actually had the work done I asked id before doing the paperwork if my finances grandfather could come take a look at the car where he is a master mechanic and he told me if I wanted someone to come look at the car then this sale was not worth it to him as he claimed he just fixed everything. My grandmother & I decided to just go ahead with the paperwork trusting he fixed all the issues and I could bring it to my finances grandfather after before the 30 days and warranty were up. after all that we set up a day for me to come back for the burn holes to be fixed (Only a few days later). The next day, I noticed the brakes were starting to grind again and thump/shake like driving on a rumble strip again and the rattle was way worse. I tried calling to get ahold of Tony, I was only able to speak with the woman (forget her name) who said she would leave a message for him as he was there but was busy and would have him call me back shortly. A few hours went by and I just figured he was busy & would call when he can. A few more hours go by and they're about to close, I call back again and got the woman again, she had told me he left for the day a little while ago and would call me back in the morning. Next morning I never received a call so I called back around 1 and could not get through to anyone and left a voicemail, tried again a few hours later, same thing. At this point I figured I would wait until I went there for the burn holes.Fast forward to appointmentday & when I get there Tony said they couldn't do it today because the guy that does it never showed up. Now my appointment was at 230pm & if he never showed up he had plenty of time to call & let me know as I live 45 minutes away but he didn't. I did not find out until I got there. So we reset another appointment & I told him about the brakes & rattle. He ensured me that the brakes were brand new and it was not possible and that I was hearing things. Same with the rattle as they "ripped my heat shield off" & said that was the reaso

They painted over rust to hide problems and the sales guy was very rude and knew what he was trying to hide. I would not trust them

THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY. Bought a 2016 Nissan Rogue lasted two months till the ac ran out and both my headlights went out within days of another. Guy lied said he paid over a hundred bucks to get it detailed but they somehow missed wiping the dirty finger prints off the light switches, door handles, and juice spills inside the doors. My neighbor also bought from them and needed the whole engine replaced within one month of buying their van.

Tony is a thief. I bought a 2007 Toyota Solara and he would not let me take it to my mechanic. The steering became very bad. I took it to my mechanic and he said I needed a new power steering pump it was leaking all over the boot and had filled the boot up with the fluid. My mechanic looked over the car and found that I had a dry rotted tire on the passenger side that didn't even match the others. The transmission coolant lines were leaking so I needed a new radiator and lines. The exhaust had a leak. The valve covers were leaking and needed new gaskets The alignment was off eventhough Tony claimed he had it aligned. This was the first car I ever bought. My late husband always did it. I fell for Tony's story stating that his garage inspected it and the car was fine. Also, he wouldn't take my debit card or check. I had to go to my bank and get a cashiers check. DON'T GO TO CALEF AUTO!!!

Tony and Jamie were excellent. They took car of the vehicle maintenance, followed through on what they said was to be done to the vehicle, and it was a great price for a used vehicle. The car was totally clean and detailed. I would recommend to anyone looking for a used vehicle.

Asked to negotiate price because after a test drive it was clear that multiple things were wrong with the vehicle that I would have to fix after the fact (eg, extensive issues with wiring). The lady caught a serious attitude with me for no reason. She acted like I was asking her to give me the car for free. Sorry most auto dealers are willing to work with potential customers, especially when they knowingly put a sub-par vehicle up for sale. For anyone considering buying from here don’t waste your time…you’ll either get treated like garbage or end up getting sold a piece of garbage.

Excellent pre-sale. But support? Non existent, have not had vehicle 20 days and it keeps losing power. Once stranded till 2 in the am and the second time a week later at 11 pm. They're attitude was that there is NO 30 day warranty on electrical - battery, starter or alternator. They have 2 bays, 2 mechanics and no time. I asked if Tony could make good on this and was promptly told NO. Wouldn't mind but we purchased 2 cars and this is how we're treated. My son's car also has issues such as NO oil and that doesn't seem to be their issue either. Some cars just use oil I'm told. DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE HERE

We purchased a truck from Tony in 2020. We specifically asked about the under carriage of the truck. Tony , the salesperson, and finance person said that there was nothing wrong with the undercarriage. They would not sell a truck that would not pass inspection. Last year we went to Tony for the inspection. . They passed it again. This Year we went to a different inspection station. Lo and behold the frame had been repaired multiple times and now will not pass inspection. To fix it would cost over $3000. with no guarantee that it will pass inspection. So, we are still paying for a truck that is extremely unsafe to drive We will never purchase another vehicle from Tony . He is not trustworthy.

Very disappointed, bought a 2015 Jeep Patriot several months ago $12,000 cash as is , A/C doesn't work, passenger side front ball joint bad, rear toe links bad , rear wheel bearing bad , just don't understand how so many uninspectable items made it past the mechanic! Children ride in these vehicles! Buyers be very careful doing business with this dealership!

Never again!! My husband and I purchased a SUV from them for $12,000. Situations being what they were our backs were against the wall to purchase a vehicle. He had been deployed for quite some time and we needed a 2nd vehicle quickly so he could find a job. Tires barely had tread (which we realized), 3 months after driving it there is an awful howling coming from the front end sounds like a hub assembly or tie rod ends...hoping it's not the crank shaft!!! The worst part... this vehicles KBB worth... $4,000!!! They handed the car over to us without evening cleaning it. It was dirty, nasty and still had trash in it, so we detailed it ourselves. I will NEVER do business with them again. Nor will I EVER send anyone to them! Granted, we should have done some of our own research but an $8,000 difference!!! Unreal!!!

Worked very hard and transparently to get me into a Subaru that fit my budget. Nothing but praise for every interaction with Calef.

I just bought a car from them Friday, on Saturday morning my check engine came on I thought it was the gas cap. Monday I took it to get the code read, it needs a knee catalytic converter.. the man at auto zone explained this wouldn’t just happen over night and they must’ve cleared the code. It was run thru emitions 3 times in February and I believe it’s because the check engine because of the catalytic converter being no good.. I’m very upset I just dumped 3,000$ down for a lemon.
