Came in to pick up a very common antibiotic eye ointment. The girl who waited on me never greeted me, never smiled & acted as if I was interrupting her day. She told me the antibiotic would come in tomorrow afternoon. Having an eye infection, I wanted to start treatment asap. I called Rite aid across the street. They had the medication in stock and said “please allow us an hour because I need to call CVS & they tend to be a bit behind the 8 ball.” I said “agreed…I have experienced that today” I had the med in hand within the hour, and the girl was helpful, friendly and polite.I would not be writing now if this were an isolated experience with poor public service demonstrated by CVS pharmacy staff; About a month ago I had a different prescription but nearly identical cold, unfriendly interaction with a girl in the pharmacy(not the same girl) CVS needs to have a chat with their employees letting them know that the poor attitudes are driving away customers. It takes no effort to smile & make an attempt to be pleasant for a couple of minutes! I will not be back, and my new pharmacy will be at Rite aid

The attendants working at this pharmacy are the most incompetent people I've ever met in my life. I handed in a script for them to fill for my dying cat, created a profile for him, and told them his date of birth. When I went to pick it up, they told me they lost the medication and don't know where it is, then also said that they couldn't verify because I told them the wrong date of birth (I did not). I asked to see the paperwork I handed in because that has his date of birth on it, they told me they lost it. I went home and called the pharmacy to check since the lady working the register refused to let me talk to someone else. The lady I spoke to on the phone told me the prescription was filled and ready to go for my cat and said a date of birth that was completely different from the one I had provided and was listed on his paperwork. I will never again use another CVS, especially not this one.

One of the least helpful pharmacy staffs I have experienced. Went to fill an RX and they claimed they didn’t have it. Turned me away for meds for my sick cat.

I don't feel rushed when I go there. The girls at the pharmacy take care of one customer at a time. They answer questions and they're all very respectful.

I had some confusion about my prescription. My lady at the counter was very helpful as well as polite in giving answers that helped me make a decision.

Used the drive thru to pick up prescriptions. The staff is very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. The service is always quick and easy. They also sell multiple items for health needs at the drive up.

Passing through town from Maine. This CVS seems to have an adversarial relationship with its customers. I blame management. 1. No cash back. I needed $2 cash back because I was meeting someone in the parking lot to buy a stool and was $2 short. I bought a candy bar expecting the kiosk to allow me to get cash back, it didn’t. The lady also said with an attitude that she couldn’t do it at the register even if I bought another candy bar. And pointed to a hand written non custoemr friendly sign that said no cash back. 2. I used the ATM instead. ATM machine charged me $3 for $20. Then the lady said they didn’t have change. So I said I’d buy something again to make her give me change. She continued to give me a negative vibe. I called it out and said this store wasn’t very accommodating. She changed her attitude and decided to give me change without making me buy another candy bar. 3. I decided to get a flu shot while there. People in the pharmacy area are like chickens with their heads cut off. Nobody helped me so I left. 4. No restrooms to use either. What a disgrace. I’m a regular CVS customer. I just expect certain things from all of their locations.Update: Rite Aid across the street has clearly marked public restrooms! Go to Rite Aid instead!CVS Somersworth, get your act together, it’s not hard to do!

I have been using CVS Somersworth for more than five years but after last night's attitude (which wasn't the first time they gave me some), I am done and I'm now switching to Rite Aid just across the street from them for my entire family. CVS used to have friendly and professional staff but now they just couldn't care less.Last incident happened yesterday (07/18) when my daughter was diagnosed with an ear infection (something recurring with her so we are familiar with the treatments) and her prescription was sent to CVS Somersworth. My wife asked me to pick it up on my way back from work, and I came in around 7:40/7:45pm when they close at 8pm.There is a small, older lady at the pharmacy desk that is simply the rudest. She didn't even greet me, just screamed: "Name?" at me. I told her my last name and started to spell it for her. She interrupted me with the same tone after 4 letters and repeated: "Name!"Confused, I explained I just gave her my last name to what she then screamed: "First name!". I gave her my daughter's name and she simply sighed while looking at the screen, then mumbled: "The pharmacist needs to mix that!" looking at me like I was giving her extra work. Then she sharply told me to "Move out of the way for other customers" when there were none. The pharmacist came to pick it up, went in the back to mix the antibiotics and gave it back to the lady. All this took less than three minutes. She handed over the antibiotics to me and told me to press the buttons on the screen. My wife told me there should be two things, one the antibiotics, the other being some ear drops medicine (a famous brand one), so I asked the old lady about it and she told me they didn't have it on site and they will have to order it, which will be the next day cause they were closing. I am pretty sure she wouldn't have mentioned it if I didn't ask. I then asked if they had the generic one by any chance. She sighed again like I was obviously giving her extra work and told me they did have it but my insurance wouldn't cover it (but they were covering the highest price one o_O" ???). Anyway, I took the antibiotics and went back home.My daughter was in pain and hoping to have her ear drops. I told my wife what happened and she couldn't believe it. We called our insurance to ask if they would cover the generic ear drop and their answer was yes, absolutely, and the pharmacy should know that. Of course it then was after 8pm and CVS was closed. So my daughter had to endure an extra night of ear pain because of that person's incompetence. My wife called them back this morning, asking them to switch the ear drops to the generic one, stating our insurance confirmed they would cover it and was told in a rude way that they now were out of stock but they will still order the famous brand one and it wasn't "such a big deal" and she would get a text "at some point". Then they hung up at her!We then called Rite Aid, the one just across the street from CVS Somersworth, explained the situation and asked if they had the ear drops (generic or not) in stock. The lady on the phone apologized for our experience with CVS (even though she works for Rite Aid) and went straight to look for the medicine. They had both so we asked how could we move the prescription from CVS to them, she asked for our details and took care of everything, before apologizing again for our little girl being in pain. 10 minutes later, we got an automated call from Rite Aid stating the prescription was ready to be picked up. This is how pharmacy service should be done!Shame on you CVS, you provide pitiful service, you are rude, incompetent, obnoxious and couldn't care less! We will now have all our prescriptions sent to Rite Aid and we won't be looking back!

This is by far the worst pharmacy out there. Extremely rude and incompetent staff at the pharmacy. I have had a number of issues with this pharmacy that apear to be federal violations and acts of discrimination.

Absolutely the worst! On multiple occasions they claim not to have received prescriptions that my Doctor has a confirmation from them for. Then act as if it's the providers fault and are completely unhelpful. I see many other comments saying the same thing, so it is obviously a known issue. My Doctor has shown me the confirmation from the store acknowledging they received it but when you get there, nothing! This leads to multiple trips, calls back to the provider, waiting at the pharmacy, and in the most recent case my child not having his rescue inhaler overnight! Go anywhere else!

Guess there are too many pharmacy robbing junkies in Somersworth for the pharmacy to be able to answer if they have enough medication in stock to fill a script before it is sent over by the doctor. I have to get my doctor to call over and ask for me, like he has time for that nonsense. Stay away...

My online experience wasn’t the best when trying to schedule a Covid booster appointment but the staff at the new CVS on Sterling Drive in Dover, NH were the best. Evidently their systems were up and down and I kept getting a cancellation text but decided to go directly to the store. Within 30 minutes I was in and out with a Pfizer Covid booster! Great job CVS techs and I’ll be forever grateful

If you need a Covid-19 test results in less than 4 days and 9 hours (yep >100 hours!!) I strongly suggest you GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Very disappointing experience.
