I’m torn because the work itself was absolutely fantastic, and they were spot on with estimated time I was told.
My issue isn’t with anyone at this location but with the website and online customer service itself. I want to be very clear about that. Everyone at this location is amazing.
But I’ll let my picture speak for itself.
I made and appointment here and an appointment across the street at town fair.
This place originally after speaking with someone in the online chat beat them by like $130…. Come to find out it actually was $150 more expensive in the end because when I asked what the final price “with an alignment, all fees, the tires themselves etc” final final price, was indeed not true nor anywhere close, and it’s what got me in there to do business to begin with.
So to not see the price until after all the work was done, I’m left with nothing to do but pay it….
This picture was only taken because not getting a quote when setting up the appointment seemed weird.

First visit for an alignment, despite having me waiting for nearly two hours, they didn't even attempt to align the rear end giving some excuse about rusty fasteners, though notably not bringing me out to show me them despite inviting another customer who was in for a post-purchase inspection or something out to take photos of the issues they had with his car.
After bringing my car to my mechanic who had referred me to them in the first place, to address the reported issue. My mechanic found no concerns with the nuts and bolts and accompanied me to bring it back and address their claims alongside me. The rep working the counter claimed to just be filling in despite having been the same person working the day we first brought it in. Told me to return the following day to speak with someone else to have the alignment redone.
The following day, my mechanic again took time out of his schedule and accompanied me to bring it in as directed, and after some probing we get a different excuse about why it wasn't done the first time being due to the control arms not having been replaced (notably this excuse materialized only AFTER being asked to list off the parts we HAD replaced) until my mechanic called them on the fact that had literally had a wrench on and could confirm every fastener was fine and not seized.
Left the car to be redone and picked up that night - despite a much better looking alignment report the car now pulls heavily to left. They clearly didn't want to do the job but were happy to take my $200+, I will never return to this location again.
Edit: After looking things over with my mechanic a quick tire rotation took care of the issue with pulling to the left. Funny how driving on a bad (or completely not done) alignment job can cause irregular wear on the affected tires...

I’ve always had a great experience here. Unlike other locations they only let you know of actual problems your car has. The staff is very helpful and friendly, their work seems to be priced well.

Honestly they don’t even deserve the 1 star but I have to give it. All I can say is that I have had the worst experiences there and I HIGHLY do not recommend ever bringing your car there ever. I have had countless issues every time I have stepped foot in there. From rude people working there, jobs, NEVER done right the 1st time. I can’t even fit all the problems I have had with them on this review and I have called corporate twice now and they suck to. Then to top it off I had my daughters car there today and was told it won’t pass inspection due, to the front brakes, and “rotted rocker panels” I was floored that that was said. The rocker panels are completely solid and I will add a pic taken minutes after they said she needed front brakes because I just had to see for myself. This place is absolutely the worst I have experienced in every way. I have paid for lifetime , alignments (NEVER DONE RIGHT) and anything else lifetime that they offered. I have bought 2 sets of tires from there at $1300 each visit and the tires were worn from misalignment 100% but I have the benefit anyway and just said I wanted it right.
Edit: I had to get a service done on my car and went in, my mistake, but there was a new “manager” and said everyone was let go and that they were new and there because the store was terrible. Well he wasn’t wrong about being terrible STILL and I said ok I will have my service done. Well they didn’t do services that they said they did, the technician admitted it as well

Absolutley HORRIBLE! I called 8 times and nobody answered the phone. Took my wife 2 more attempts. Not enough customer service reps at the counter. If you come in and there's somebody tire shopping ahead of you, add another 30 to 45 mins to your initial time allocation. They also do NOT have many of the tires they sell on hand. The facility is a 5 ☆ building, but customer service simply SUCKS. Another issue is that the waiting area blares FOX News at you at nauseum. It's less than palatable to be forced to watch EITHER crazy liberal cable news networks OR crazy RIGHT channels like this one. It alienates HALF your customers, and it's not necessary. Choose something neutral like PBS OR THE WEATHER CHANNEL. Spend the extra money to improve your customer service, and you will make up the delta financially in the long run. I'm going to purchase my tires elsewhere from now on.

Would love to go for tire repair or service needs without being told EVERY SINGLE TIME that they are short handed. Nobody showed up for work today. Maybe Firestone should pay a better salary to retain good workers!

Came in for.oil and filter.change,knew my rear tires were going to need to rrplaced soon,but service mgr.showed me a pic on his tablet that showed radial cords showing on one tire....Made appt to have tires replaced...Great service!!!

Yesterday in the heat warning, my air conditioner in the park condition stopped working! The engine was also chugging at times. After stopping for service at VIP given a 3 day wait appointment and limited encouragement or listening… I stopped at Firestone totally opposite response! They cared!! I showed them photos where chipmunks had gotten into my car and Manager said he’d squeeze me in. Their waiting room calmed me as I waited in VERY COOL AC but also met all 3 staff, got excellent updates, very friendly conversation and RESPECT waiting for my 2 needed parts to quickly arrive. PRICE was very REASONABLE and driving home I was happily amazed. Personally I need a car to visit my 96 year old Mom at Watson Fields and transport my talented grandson and a million other tasks.!! Ironically 2 days before I had to call AAA because squirrels had got into the hood &
my engine, acorns everywhere. Ladies living alone, car issues are stressful - not at Firestone in Somersworth. I have found where you can go to alleviate your anxiety! Staff appreciate your situation &
honestly listen, get quick appointment, explanation and updates, meet all friendly staff, and know when you leave YOU will be HAPPY and in my case COOL knowing staff take fast actions in our busy Summer days!!! Thanks
