“My washer died and the replacement didn’t arrive in time, so it was off to the washermat. It’s been a hot minute since I last visited. Wow x 3. The machines are huge! I got all 7 loads done in just over 1 hour (took me longer to drive there and back)! It cost me $60!”

Super clean and organized all new machines I love everything except the fact I brought all my quarters from change jar and no way to exchange them for laundry services if they would be so kind to have a machine that takes quarters or a way to convert them into use that would be great for customers and for them ,thank you Rochester laundry for having a great place to do laundry”

“Awesome-better wash and equipment than center next to my house. like the UNH vibe, nice to walk to stores, see people-Franz's is renowned, inside the center. like to drive there and now go biweekly, save money. real feel good, well managed, maintained, bright, cheery, window seats, Still excellent today and by chance talked with someone who knew my shipyard pal Gary who passed-like talking with an old friend sharing stories. Franz now has an excellent co-cook and the two rock. Phantom Gourmet has been there. Efforts underway to improve parking options. Freshman Orientation today mid-June. Now July 2025=sadly the owner lists these 2 properties for sale and the downtown continues to evolve into a new generation. Back in the days Burger King was in the Mill Plaza. Gone are Youngs, Weeks, Carls food truck. I hope the new owner plans to keep the laundry and Franzs. Mill Plaza new owner had hoped for a new Hannaford and student housing after 3 UNH dorms were converted from housing. How nice to see an Academic class today grouped on Main st. to discuss the future possibilities. Sept. 2025. “Very friendly staff one lady stayed 3-4 mins later as I was only washing my clothes because my washer died and I didn’t think a small washer was going to take longer than the 60lb washer and she was very nice about it and now today the gentleman working recognized I was wearing a Steelers hat and went out of his way to ask me if I’d rather him put the Steelers game on instead of the chiefs game asides all that it’s always very clean here washers wash great friendly people 5 stars”
“Very very clean it was staffed with an employee that was helpful and easy to use the machines they took a credit card so I didn't have to worry about coins. They also had a dry cleaning service right there. I will definitely go there again.”
“I love this place I've been coming here for years The staff is friendly and helpful, The other customers are friendly and helpful. The single stall bathroom is only accessible when a staff member is in the office, This is inconvenient when you really have to go pee, or have small children with you, however there are some businesses close by with available bathrooms to use. They have a vending machine with some snacks and drinks and possibly a laundry bag You can purchase soap and dryer sheets. All machines including the vending machines accept card and coins. I believe they do have wash dry & fold services for an additional charge.”
“My new favorite place to do laundry. Varneys was very clean and looked very well maintained! The employee was very friendly and helpful and I didn't encounter any of the stereotypical laundromat weirdos we've all come to know and love. The prices were good and my clothes are clean. I'll be back!”

The lady working was so nice and guided me on loading up their laundry card, and told me what machine would be best for washing a comforter my pet had gotten sick on. Best laundromat I think I’ve been to anywhere and I travel a lot around the country. ”
