Rented a van to move stuff out of storage, they notify me at 6 PM the night before that they let the person keep it another day. Can't find another vehicle for the morning at this point so I'll have to pay another months storage thanks to these clowns.

Have had many hit or miss interactions. Most employees don't care or bother to help you if you are looking for something specific. Today, me and my wife went in for a section of carpet. We waited by the carpet for a few minutes, not a soul around. Asked a employee for help and they advised, the worker is on a quick break and will be back any minute. BUT, he will have someone come help. He took off. We stood around another 25 minutes with not a soul around. Tried to find another employee, not a single employee around. We returned the items we had grabbed and left. Just terrible customer service all around. Wouldn't recommend.

My wife purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator from Home Depot. When going through the purchase process they told her that she could save $50 on the purchase by getting a Home Depot credit card. Once she was invoiced they then told her that she was not eligible for the $50 credit so she immediately cancelled the card. Can you spell BAIT AND SWITCH? We took delivery three weeks ago of the refrigerator that is intermittently quiet, making a medium noise and making a very loud noise. Since it was more than 48 hours after delivery, Home Depot said I needed to deal with my extended warranty. I called the useless people at AllState Protection Plans (The reps are in another country, by the way) who underwrite the plan and they said it is a defective unit and I need to deal with Home Depot or the manufacturer and that they would not honor their warranty. This is of course after at least an hour of going through their maddening phone trees and submitting copies of an order that they should have on file. No matter how this situation resolves itself DO NOT BUY AN EXTENDED WARRANTY THROUGH ALLSTATE! They are useless and appear to have designed their system to inflict the maximum amount of frustration and wasted time on someone wanting to make a claim. I then called Home Depot once again and the supervisor said that he would contact the warranty company and resolve the situation. He called back and I was now directed to go to the Frigidaire the manufacturer. Once I made contact, I had to speak to one of their computers and give it information. It did not understand when I used the phonetic alphabet to give them the serial number. I was then placed on hold with a message that it would take 20 minutes to be connected. After 26 minutes on hold I was able to finally speak to a LIVE person at Fridgidaire!!! Hurray!!! I was actually going to get some service from a representative who said he would put me on hold and schedule a service call. Guess what? While on hold, I WAS DISCONNECTED!!! So, I called back and got back into the Queue and hearing a maddening recorded message trying to get me to purchase a water filter every couple of minutes! After getting through after another 20 minutes on hold, I finally got an appointment with a service tech to look at the refrigerator but it was for 3 weeks out because they are on the other side of the state. This purchase was for an apartment that is under construction, so I did not need it for food storage right now but what if this purchase was for my home? I would be 3 weeks with a defective refrigerator! So, I called Home Depot and told them how unhappy I am with the entire run around. I spoke to one of their managers and he agreed to help me. I received an email from the manager saying that the service appointment would be for August 17th. I was scheduled to meet my wife on Cape Cod that day but decided to stay home, meet the tech and instead resolve the problem. Today is August 17th and I waited all morning for a tech and neither received a phone call or a visit. I called the service company to find out when they would be arriving and was told that NO TECH VISIT WAS SCHEDULED UNTIL AUGUST 30th!!!!! To say I was angry would be a huge understatement. I waited for a while to let my blood pressure come down from quadruple digits range and then called Home Depot once more. When I was connected to the manager that I had spoken to previously, I said to him, "I am going to remain very calm however I am as displeased with this transaction as I have ever been before. If you do not come and pick up this refrigerator, I will leave it in the middle of your parking lot!" They came and picked it up within two hours!

We've had some challenges come up around ordering a new washer/dryer. Ernie in the appliances helped us out. He is absolutely top tier for customer service. We will be coming back to this Home Depot for any of our home needs !

don't order appliances to be delivered here if you value your sanity at all. Horrible experience, today was the 3rd time they showed up and didn't even have our appliances on the truck.

DO NOT ORDER YOUR KITCHEN CABINETS OR DRAWERS FROM HERE!! I'm in the middle of an absolute nightmare with the Somersworth location! I Recently spent close to $4000 on 6 kitchen drawers and two pantries. Picked them up and went to install with my contractor the next day. As they were being installed, we noticed they were all damaged. My kitchen was already demo'd at this point so waiting the 8 weeks to return & get new ones were not an option. They sent 2 reps from the cabinet company & the manager to my home within two days to inspect the damage. This was quick & appreciated. They noted the damage & told me they would replace the items & only offered a $225 refund! Two of the drawer bases have side panels that screws blew out the side of and cannot be replaced. 16 parts had to be reordered & I have to just deal with the other two parts that are damaged! They did not call when the pieces came in. They did not offer delivery. They did not offer an installment of the pieces. The $225 will barely pay for my Contractor's time. They told me I should have opened the boxes in the lobby of Home Depot to inspect them before trying to install in my kitchen. The manager told me at one point to "just return them all and she would refund my money because it's only $3000". If I did that, my family would be left with no kitchen at all for at least 2-3 months. I have called 3 filed 3 separate reports with 3 separate Customer Care reps and now am on an executive level. I paid full price for damaged goods. This hassle is so stressful and should not be happening at all.

Great customer service, went here today to pick up an online order, was in and out in no time at all! The girl who helped me at the service desk was friendly and efficient. Definitely better than the Rochester store!

We recently spent a significant amount of money on a washer and dryer. The salesman was great. Home Depot uses an outside contractor for delivery and they are the absolute worst. They broke the first washer they delivered after almost getting their truck stuck in our driveway. The process of Getting replacement through Home Depot was easy but actually getting it delivered was another story. We had to wait 2 weeks and fight to get it on a day that wouldn't require one of us to take a day off of work. Then they show up and say our driveway is too icy to go down. THIS IS NEW ENGLAND!!! The only way to get the washer was to have them take it off the truck in the street and we had to walk it down and set it up on our own as they refused to do it. NEVER GET MAJOR APPLIANCES DELIVERED BY HOME DEPOT!!!!!

Yeah can not stand this Home Depot. Guess that's why I go to Lowe's instead. No one asked me if I needed help. I just get the look like I about to steal something. One I don't steal. Two I live in one of the nices, rich area of Somersworth. So No I don't do that. And yes that's hard to find. Considering a lot of people pay high property taxes, yet the the whole damn town looks so slummy. That's why it's nickname SLUMSWORTH. Can't stand this town. I rather live in Dover. Anyways I don't get good service here. Instead I'm walking around in circles trying to find something. Then you hear dumb people working in the aisles slamming stuff hard. Really annoying.

This is a callout to Home Depot's policy on dogs. On Home Depot's website, they talk about how they allow dogs in their store. Of course, certain stores may have their own policies and I respect that. Once I arrived at the front of the store, we saw that the store mentioned that only service dogs were allowed in the store. Before we let our dog in, my significant other stayed with our dog in the lobby, and not in the store yet, while I talked to customer service to confirm. After asking politely if their policy was specifically to only allow dogs who classified as service animals, the woman (whose name I did not get) proceeded to tell me that as long as our dog is well behaved then she would be fine, although typically they should only be service dogs. If the conversation ended there, I would've understood and I said thank you. But, before getting that answer I received a message that closely resembled the following from the woman at the customer service desk: "Well, you really shouldn't be bringing your dog into public spaces like this." That is where I got a little upset. I wasn't planning on just waltzing in with my dog after I saw the sign. I tried to do the responsible thing and double check, and instead I get a slap on the wrist. I understand that not every store allows dogs, but when your stores website boasts about being able to allow dogs in most stores, I feel compelled to ask since it seemed to be standard operating procedure for most Home Depot's. Walking around the store, all of the other employees were very nice and loved seeing our dog, but when I mentioned what the woman at the desk told me, they were shocked. They were asking who told me that, because it's not in line with their policies. Was going to give 2 stars, possible 1, but the other employees that I ran into were all so nice, friendly, and customer service oriented that I'd feel bad making the store suffer

So the customer service is so on the ball here but this review specifically has to do with a visit on 6/30/19 (5pm). I went in for wall anchors so I didn't grab a cart. Well, I end up at the cash register in the garden section with an arm full of items that I "realized I needed" haha. I then had to go back for potting soil that I forgot I also "needed". The cashier allowed me to stash all my treasure at the register which I was super grateful for but upon return, she had piled everything into a cart for me so I could easily bring it to my car. I wish I caught her name as these small gestures of going above and beyond make me so happy to frequent this adult toy store...and she also deserves a raise for being so awesome and attentive. Thanks home Depot!

I have never been so disrespected by an employee, of a business where I personally spent tens of thousands of dollars, of my money, my friends and family's projects money, and to be physically threatened after I came in to politely address a concern about billing issues, when I verbally told them I was going to do just this as he and his employee were verbally notified of my disability of PTSD the night before. He then physically lunged at me as I told him I was going to record and report him. I went home calmed down then called the cooperate offices, spoke with a secretary was transferred then hung up on twice, so I went back to the somersworth P.D. and reported him. I shook all over for two days and calmed down to finally do this and make sure it's not anger. Even now I begin to shake all over. The manager Roger a red headed gentalman was very Aggressive beware.

I normally avoid the help of Home Depot employees, since I've had some comically bad experiences at other locations in the past, but all the staff I interacted with and had questions for at this store location were great! They actually knew where products were located, how to make cuts with their power saw, and were knowledgeable about their paints when I had questions. Amazing!!
