Mike Howard and his crew lifted, moved, and placed our 60+ year old house on a new foundation this past fall. The work was efficient and quite impressive. Mike was so easy to work with. He answered our many questions from planning to completion. We didn’t know what to expect, but were extremely pleased with the quality of work and professionalism of the company. After a lot of research and talking to many in the business, we learned our plans for an 1800’s barn renovation was complex with questionable expectations of results and costs beyond our budget. But then we found Mike of Howard Construction who looked at our project with enthusiasm, confidence in how to tackle the challenges, and experience that others did not have. He presented a reasonable quote and was willing to have us design and work alongside the team throughout the process. We enjoyed the project and were able to roll with unexpected findings because of Howard Construction’s ease with continuous evolution of design. Although originally contracted for barn lift and new foundation, we continued with the team for lots more: garage addition, natural rock walls, and re-grading/water management.

I thought highly of this company when i met the owner. Came out to my house and gave me a decent quote, seemed like a stand up guy. But when it came time to get the job started he would not call me back, tried several times and left messages with two different numbers. I am a reasonable guy, all I needed was a "yes or no" answer but got nothing.
