Market Basket is a well-loved grocery store known for its impressive fresh food section, offering a variety of tasty cooked meals and excellent lunch and dinner options. Customers appreciate the store's cleanliness, organization, and amazing prices, making it a popular choice for grocery shopping. Many travelers, like those visiting from North Carolina, often go out of their way to shop at Market Basket, particularly for its fresh fruits, vegetables, and frozen items.
While most employees are pleasant and helpful, there have been some concerns about customer service, particularly in the seafood department, where a few customers reported rudeness from staff. Despite these issues, the store's vast selection, including bagels and affordable Starbucks iced coffee, keeps customers returning. The hot food area is noted for its low prices, likely drawing in many shoppers as a loss leader. Overall, Market Basket has a loyal customer base, with many expressing their desire to return, highlighting its strong reputation in the community.
Kudos to all the employees at Market Basket in Swanzey. No business can excel without great employees and Market Basket nails it. Special shoutout to express cashier Julianna, who keeps her line moving quickly and with a positive attitude added. A pure joy!

Lived in New Hampshire for 10 years. When ever I return there I always stop there for MB soap. Best i've ever used.

Please come to NY! I shop here when I am in MA and NH, but if you were in NY or VT even, I would shop regularly at the Market Basket and no where else.
