Irving Oil is an international refining and marketing company with a history of long-term partnerships and relationships. Founded in 1924, Irving Oil operates Canada's largest refinery in Saint John, New Brunswick, along with more than 900 gas stations and a network of distribution terminals spanning Eastern Canada and New England. It also operates Ireland's only refinery, located in the village of Whitegate. In 2019, Irving Oil expanded its presence in Ireland by acquiring Top Oil, a leading supplier of home heating oil, petrol and and diesel fuel. Irving Oil established its European operations in 2014 with an office in London, England, and tankage in Amsterdam. The staff at Irving Oil are generally described as great, welcoming, and pleasant, though the ID requirement for purchasing cigarettes is seen by some as unnecessary. The locations are considered good, but the parking lots can be a bit messy. While the prices are sometimes higher than nearby competitors, the market offerings are still viewed positively.
It is extremely hard to see the curb before the driveway opens up at night time. Before you know it you're up over a curve on a little medium thing and have to continue right over. I mentioned it to the clerk and he said it happens at least two or three times a night.... wondering why this is not fixed??
