Appleknockers Store is a great convenience and gas store, described as the cleanest and as having a wonderful array of products. It offers all regular convenience store options plus a good selection of specialty items, gifts, farm-raised meats, deli items, grab-and-go sandwiches, tourist stuff, collectables, and day-to-day needs. It also features a full hardware store in the back. The store is super friendly with a sense of humor and a comfortable atmosphere, where staff are very friendly. It is noted for having the best pizza and none ethanol gas. While gas prices are higher than in the cities, they are reasonable for a rural pit stop. The store feels brand new and clean, with good prices, and is definitely recommended.
