I had a severe gluten reaction to the "GLUTEN FREE" bread which is no longer gluten free according to another reviewer. Restaurants are still serving this as gluten free.

Horrible customer service. Contacted them 3 different ways with a simple question but never did get any kind of response, i.e. call back or answers to my messages. Apparently not worth my time.

Used to be my saving grace as it was the best GF bread I could find. But they changed the recipe to include barley malt, so is no longer gluten free. I sent a few emails inquiring about it, but never got a response. Super disappointing. And worrisome that many establishments that carry it are still marking it as GF. I’m beginning to experiment making my own, and will hopefully come up with something half as good. Because, dang, I really miss it!!Cute facility, and the former owner was really nice.

We were told the pizza would take an hour. We got to the address listed on the FB page, where we walked an icy driveway to get to the door. When we called, they said it's one driveway down from the address listed, my husband fell and hurt his arm walking back to the car so we could drive to the right driveway. The bakery is hidden from the road, zero signs showing where it is. We ran into multiple people experiencing the same issue. All orders were delayed by 30 min, making it 1.5 hrs. The dough tasted good but it was mostly that, dough. I got a pepperoni pizza with mushrooms and onions, $2 per topping. It was basically a thin layer of cheese, a single pepperoni, a slice of mushroom and one onion strip per slice. My husband got meat lovers, toppings inconsistent, sauce non-existent. One time was enough.

I've enjoyed Abigail's millet & sweet brown rice bread and their millet & sweet brown rice cinnamon raisin swirl bread for many years. I especially loved them because they were very low in sodium and I follow a low sodium diet. They were delicious too! I'm writing this to warn everyone that the recipes have recently changed because owners were changed to the former owner's children. Both breads are drastically higher in sodium now. The sweet millet and brown rice bread went from 18mg. per slice to 157 mg. per slice. The cinnamon raisin swirl bread is now 159 mg. per slice. That is a lot of sodium!!! I'm so disappointed!!!I will definitely cut down on my consumption of their bread. I am looking for alternatives now.

I came across Abigail's bread for the first time yesterday. I'm not kidding when I say the loaf of cinnamon raisin swirl did not last longer than 12 hours. I tried it with butter, with peanut butter, butter and peanut butter, plain, with bacon, with eggs, toasted, not toasted. I even went as far as making French toast with it. Everything about it is unbelievably amazing. I am beyond the point of full, but cannot stop thinking about eating another slice. Thank you to whoever made this happiness.

Hands down the best gluten free bread in the world! It holds together for a sandwich and isn't super dense like many gf breads. The dinner rolls are amazing, and the pumpkin bread toasted with cream cheese on top... delicious!! I don't live nearby, but their online ordering works smoothly. The order arrives fresh and tasty and freezes well. ?

When I had to give up gluten the thing I was saddest about was bread and pastries, and then I found Abigail’s. The millet and brown rice cinnamon swirl loaf is such a treat! I would be fine with never eating another coffee cake as long as I had this bread, and that’s saying a lot. Also, it’s dairy free! Which is not always the case with gf breads. Thank you to Abigail’s for making such amazing products for people with food sensitivity!

On a vacation to Maine we bought a loaf of Abigail’s Bakery Gluten-free bread from a small coop grocery. It was fantastic. I went back and got the gluten-free dinner rolls which I used for hit dog buns, burger/slider buns and lobster rolls. YUM!! I am hard to please with gluten free breads. Usually, they are “eh.” Abigail’s is ridiculously good.I reached out to see if the bakery would ship to my home address in the SW US.. They do ship all over and they even told me the best day to place the order for maximum freshness. I am thrilled.
