This Jake's store is a pretty small hole in the wall, offering the full gas station deli / grilled / fried food experience. A little bit expensive compared to other convenience stores. They also sell cotton candy ice cream cups.. my FAVORITE thing!! LOL

If I could pick 0 I would have! 4 no heat calls in a month The service techs just kept replacing parts on a 1 year old furnace. The last no heat call was at 730 am. They came at 930 am and began to work on the furnace. The service tech. left at 330pm without any explanation of why the heat was still not on. We tried to call all available phone numbers including their corporate office in New Hampshire. The people we spoke with used language like " you should here back" and I will try to get back to you". No one from Irving ever called back or explained anything to us. I would not recommend this company to service anything for any reason. This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered in my life. We now have to pay another company to come and correct the problem. This whole situation was a nightmare.

Do not use the Irving fuel company for your propane use!! Do not, and this is why: First they are highway robbers. Today is December 7, 2020 and I am supposed to have monthy deliveries of propane to heat my house and hot water. Yesterday, I checked the propane level of my underground propane storarage tank it was at the10% level. I checked my Irving account and the last delivery was made in April of 2020. I called the company which is in Canada and they said I was scheduled for a delivery for Frday, December 18, yet I am on a monthly delivery schedule. I have a 500 gallon tank and they quoted me a price of $3.001 per gallon. That equates to a delivery bill of $1,500. I contacted a local propane company in my town and they quoted me a price of $1.88 per gallon, so I am changing propane company's Obviously Irving Fuel is optimizing is scheduling and billing/fuel cost numbers to maximize how much money is can gouge its customers; unbelievable, just unbelievable. Then when you factor in the exchange rate between Canada and the United States, Irving Oil Company maximizes its profits even more at the expense of its Americans customersbecause the American dollar is worth more than the Canadian which is where the Corporate Headquarters for Irving Oil resides. So again, do not, under any circumstances, purchase Irving Oil products. This Canandian company is screwing Americans.

Here to report another example of terrible installation service and management response. Please, if you are reading this and considering Irving, find another company. We were Irving customers for years, but this year we had them replace the old boiler and the process was a disaster. The design of the new system omitted key functionality that the old one had, the installation was sloppy, the system wasn't even tested (so they failed to find two critical issues that kept the system from functioning), and finally they lied about the work they had done. Their offer to make things right was to perform a tiny amount of work for free and charge us to do work that should have been included in the original package. Needless to say we have found another company.

We use Irving for oil delivery. They used to be good. I like the online payment setup, and they are usually easy to reach by phone. But they have gotten worse in the last couple years. Every time they do our annual cleaning, they magically identify a supposed problem which magically costs about $300 to repair, and is also magically not covered by the service contract. The repair never fixes the supposed problem. We just pay them anyway and consider it "protection money". So far, they have kept our old boiler working, and our house stays warm.

Nice clean place. And the employees are respectful if and when you talk to them. Nice clean place. And the employees are respectful if and when you talk to them.

The customer service at Irving is not really the problem. It is the company and the way their technicians and scheduler's work. Everyone is trying to be helpful but they truly do fall short of being effective. Quite the opposite, they add a tremendous amount of stress to each of your days, with you, the customer, working to hold them accountable and to fix the issues, as others here have stated, they create. It literally feels like they make my life worse and not better. I will be moving to a new company. I suppose I would rather spent my energy researching than having to call Irving EVERYDAY to do their job.

Irving is very disappointing. I have no faith in their service people anymore. Every time I have them come out there is always a problem. I call to get help from a supervisor and they always make excuses. Im so unhappy with them. Im extremely concerned that the service people arent experienced or just dont care about what their doing and the company over charges for incomplete services. Its a very bad way to do business.
