Nice open view of the sky, saw several meteorites during the Perseids showers, actually found it to be nicer than Milky Way Viewpoint, despite the one street light. Historical signage added to the experience and food to see basketball still active on site.

Nice big open space. This Wilton Historical Society’s signboard explaining how it was used 100 odd years ago is interesting and welcome.Just across the road is Frog pond, a serene place and well worth the extra walk.
