We had a really bad experience with this company unfortunately. BE AWARE OF THEIR RENTAL SCAM! We reserved a 48 hour pontoon rental 3 days beforehand. We told them we would pick up the rental at 830AM. We arrived at 915AM and had to wait over an hour for the staff to retrieve the boat from the mooring. This had a negative impact on our plans for the day. But it gets much worse. We asked the young man who oriented us for fenders. He assured us their rental pontoons don’t come with fenders. I thought this was odd since they are essential to keeping the boat clear of the dock pylons when docking. So off we went. Naturally, the 2nd dock we approached had a pylon that was sticking out a tad. Without the fenders, this caused some damage to the small fence panel (made of thin aluminum) on the small side door. I did a quick internet search to see if this boat should have come with fenders. It sure SHOULD HAVE! Some rental companies withhold them to purposefully hope for minor damages (so they can overcharge the unknowing consumer). I called the marina and asked for a manager. I spoke to Deb. I first asked her if fenders come with the pontoon rentals. She said, “absolutely.” I explained the situation. She said that was odd that we didn’t receive them and offered them to us if we came and picked them up. Off we went and we retrieved the two fenders that were supposed to come with the rental. Everything else went smoothly and we returned the boat before the end of our contract. Upon checking out, Deb was notified by staff about the damages. At first, she pretended she didn’t speak to me earlier. After reminding her of the details of our conversation, she said she misspoke earlier and only some of Goodhues locations provide fenders (all of their docked pontoons at the marina had fenders). She went on to say the damages were $500 (an arbitrary figure considering the part is $30 online and she just had her rude in-house service guy look at it for 10 seconds). It looks like it will take about 15 minutes to change out the part. Anyway, I informed her that Goodhues negligence was the reason why there was minor damage and I wasn’t authorizing her company to charge my credit card (which was on file as part of the rental). To my surprise, she charged it anyway. So now I need to waste more time disputing the charge, which I should be successful in doing. BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!

What a great place with mostly local younger people working. Smart, good looking positive staff. The place seems well organized, clean and managed well. I’ve haven’t had an issue in the 11 years working with Goodhue. I’m a happy customer

With my disabled husband it is challenging getting him in & out of the boat - Dockhands Jake,Graham, Ryker, and others were so helpful. My son wishes he could have gotten a picture of them assisting him on the gas dock, he said their faces showed such care. They are to be commended for their compassion

Goodhue of Wolfboro delivered our boat to Newfound Lake late in the afternoon. The drive is a two hour round trip, obviously a long day for the driver. Everything went fine with the launch. Half way back to our mooring ball an alarm went off and a major engine malfunction displayed on the screen. I continued on to our mooring ball. I texted the delivery driver, Draven Leigh, he immediately volunteered to come to our house to troubleshoot the problem despite the fact he was halfway home. He arrived at our house and he fixed the problem in 10 minutes, a loose wire. His dedication to customer service is unmatched. He is professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He is a valuable asset to Goodhue. Thank you Draven!

Sales was very responsive and communicated well . There was a small hid cup finding the used trailer and they stepped up and gave me a brand new one. The boat was even nicer than the photos . And was a great price too. I highly recommend these guys for the character they showed during the whole process

Had an outstanding experience working with Daniel from Wolfeboro location. Purchased an older boat that needed some work (totally expected with a 2012) and Dan and the crew at Goodhue were absolutely great to deal with from beginning of the process to the closing.
