We were so excited to try this Tapas places after leaving the Ice castles unfortunately we didn't have the best experience. Our server, which I don't remember her name because she barely came to check on us, did not deliver the best service experience. We saw the busser way more then we saw her. He was real attentive on our food and drinks. We actually placed half our food order with him and drinks since our server didn't come by and to our surprise the food we placed with him came out before the food we placed with her which was insane that fries and a flatbread took 30 mins while the beef bites and short rib took 10 ..anyways the atmosphere was cool and the food wasn't bad but again, don't go hungry you might have to wait 30 minutes on one or two tapas and if your taste buds don't agree with something you'll run a risk of having a rude server telling you to correct your taste buds because you are wrong.

We waited 45min for someone to come and get our order. Not once did they ask us if "everything is okay". They only came to our table 3 times to take our order, to ask if we were done and to give the check. Now I do not want to believe they gave us poor service cuz of my color but to be the only one of color in there and received such services is questionable.

Such an incredible time. Don't expect any amazing views, but it was still a very wonderful experience. Pricey but worth every cent. Great setting.

After reading the reviews, I was anxious to try this place out, but although it was listed on Yelp as being open on December 27, the place was closed and the phone number seemed to be directed to the in-train restaurant and not the in-building restaurant. Will still give it another try at a later date.

Great experience. The food was good but it's really the whole experience you will enjoy. Would recommend coming in various seasons to really get everything.

This place offers us a very cozy vibe for a fine dining experience… light music, delicious food and cocktails, good service… I highly recommend if someone visit Newhampshire in Fall.

This was very disappointing. The experience was neat from a novelty standpoint but $500 for a mediocre dinner for two is absurd (that includes cocktails and gratuity). We have dined at a Michelin star restaurant (7 courses and a wine pairing) for less than that. The food was slightly better than airplane food. The highlight was the appetizer; the pumpkin bisque and spinach tart were delicious. From there, the salad was underdressed and under seasoned. The sorbet was pointless other than to emulate a “luxurious” experience for tourists. The chicken and haddock were clearly pre-packaged and warmed in a fast-food convection oven. There was almost no discernible taste difference between the two, and in both cases the bland white cream sauce was semi-congealed and lacked flavor. And for dessert, I’m 95% that we were served Dr. Otker’s “instant” chocolate mousse, the just-add-milk variety available in all grocery stores. I understand some of the cost is the “experience” of dining on a moving locomotive; but for that money, I could have ”enjoyed” 10 dinners of similar quality at a chain like TGIFriday’s. This is a gimmick with subpar food.

5 course meal isn't quite a 5 course meal.Dessert was seriously underwhelming. Well made, but chocolate mousse is seriously meh for the cost of the meal. White mountains in fall. They could have done an apple crisp. Pumpkin pie. Something more interesting.2 hour ride is one hour out, one hour back of seriously underwhelming scenery, considering what should be available in the generally beautiful white mountains.Out and back on same spur. Meaning you'll get to see the same scenery twice.Dome car is cool, but since they didn't replace the upper windows it's not really a dome. It's more like an elevated deck car.Overall, this was one and done for us. So much potential, and I think the care is there to make it happen. As a footnote, the obnoxious, foul, loud and uncouth 11 person party from MA absolutely didn't improve the experience. I hope they get charged more on principle.

Amazing experience! I would recommend this to everyone. Very relaxing atmosphere and period decor. Spacious feeling, only 12 tables per car, you couldn’t hear conversations form the other tables. It was like being socially distant. The temperature in the car was very cold and the food could have been hotter.

We are north country locals and thought we would try the train, even though it had never been experienced or recommended by friends. After a marginal meal, at best, the cluster began. When it came time to pay our bill, waitresses and the bus boy seemed to be in a race to collect everyone's payments. A different waitress returned with three, black, check presenters, containing three different credit cards displayed. She laid them on our table, as if they had been shuffled, and said, "pick one". I smiled and said, which one should I pick? She said, "take yours." I quickly noticed that the bill was different than the original one which was presented to me. The prices of our drinks was different. Naturally, this was strange and suspicious. As I reviewed my bill and signed it, I heard the lady at the table next to me tell her waitress that she had checked the charges on her phone and noticed there was serious error. Her credit card had just been charged for $400 some dollars, rather than $200. for her party of two. She requested a correction and was told she would have to wait until they de-trained and went to the office. As we walked off, we overheard another table, which remained seated, trying to get their bill adjusted. The waitress told them that they would have to go out to the office and have someone fix it there. Needless to say, the evening ended on a sour note with the cluster and confusion. It made us wonder how many guests on our trip had been effected, how often does this occur? In our opinion, your dining dollars would be best spent elsewhere.
