Not sure if I should give it 3 or 4 stars because it was good and it’s a really nice restaurant, but for the price … you should not want to eat something after you leave! My husband went to McDonald’s afterwards because he was hungry after spending 300 on dinner. The fact that bread and dessert wasn’t included in that is wild. I never ever finish a meal. I always have food to take home. And I basically licked all three of my plates clean. Nothing to take home. And nothing was really that great either.

I recently visited Lita for a long-awaited double date on a Friday evening, secured after making reservations weeks in advance. The service at Lita is top-notch, with attentive staff who go the extra mile to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. Despite the bustling atmosphere, the spaced-out tables provide a sense of privacy, although the noise level can still be a bit challenging for conversation especially if you have a quiet voice like I do.If you opt for a table, you're limited to the 3-course prix fixe menu, which offers a decent variety and caters to most dietary restrictions. However, I suspect more options may be available at the bar. Each dish presented at Lita is a work of art, with meticulous attention to detail evident in every plate. From the Aguaturmas Bravas to the Polvo com Choriço and the Shrimp and Mussels Paella, the presentation was truly impressive. While the presentation was stellar, I found some of the flavors fell a bit short of expectations. The repeated use of a variation of the Bravas Sauce, kind of like a spicy mayo, became overwhelming in some dishes (such as the Filete a la Tártara - steak tartare). Additionally, while the mussels in the paella were exceptional, the rice was disappointingly overcooked and too crispy.Despite some flavor inconsistencies, Lita offers a delightful dining experience with its attentive service, artful presentation, and comfortable ambiance. It's an ideal spot for special occasions or intimate gatherings, though improvements in noise control could further enhance the overall experience. I rate Lita 4 out of 5 stars for its dedication to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Lita exceeded my expectations and they were high at the get go. What an amazing dining experience. Sat at the bar (reservations needed) which I really, surprisingly, liked because we ending up talking to the people around us and I kind of don’t like people! The bar offers an a la carte and a prix fix menu (only prix fix at tables), went with the prix fix and was not disappointed. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, combining traditional Portuguese ingredients and recipes with a modern twist. Service was excellent. It’s not cheap but worth it. I’ve been to Heirloom Kitchen and Heirloom at the St. Laurent and as good as they are, this is, by far, my favorite. Already planing a return visit. Even if Aberdeen isn’t around the corner from you, it is worth the trip. Go.

Despite the hype, Lita disappointed. The service was attentive, but the food fell short. The sangria was tasty but weak, portions were small, and the paella had crunchy, burnt rice, which was explained as normal. The server claimed the burnt rice was normal, but that wasn't entirely accurate. Proper paella should have a fluffy rice layer atop the seared bottom, which was missing from ours. Despite feedback, no discount was offered on the $300 bill. Overall, not worth it.

The rare 5 stars across the board. The food was absolutely insane - some of the best chicken I’ve ever had (tall order!) service was great, vibe was right. The only thing that struck me was that this incredible restaurant is located in a strip mall. But did they change my mind after that meal. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice atmosphere - friendly staff, fun music. Food was good (was hoping for amazing) but portions are very small and prices are high so brace yourself. Dinner for two with tip was about $375 and my husband had to eat again when we got home! If I were to go again, it would be for a drink and an app only.

Last night was my second time at Lita in Aberdeen. We were a party of four for my sons gf"s bday. The owner greeted me at the host station and was extremely pleasant and very accommodating. We had to add an additional person to our reservation on a very busy night. I cannot thank him enough for making me feel like it was no inconvenience at all. The front of house handle situations seamlessly. The bar staff were extremely knowledgeable, and the drinks were amazing. Our favorite drink being the "Tinto De Verano - The OG "Sangria". Our meals were our conversation topic all evening. Every course was an experience. our favorite aperitivo being "Rissóis de Camarão". This dish was so good that we ordered additional. The nxt course being the Essenciais, Our favorite dish was Filete a la Tártara. With the last dish and star of the show being the Bitoque. The shishito peppers peppers in this dish were amzing. I cannot wait to return to Lita. It truly is a unique and well thought out restaurant. Kudos to management for having such a professional and courteous staff.

’m not sure why there isn’t a place to do a review on your website but I’ll do it here and other placesI had a party of 5 for the past Friday to celebrate 3 birthdays. 2 of our guests showed up early and the hostess was beyond rude to them when they asked if they could just get drinks and wait. She was so rude to them by basically saying NO! In a beyond nasty tone and no you can’t stay come back when it’s your time! Our chef who waited on us was outstandingBut for the price you pay, the portions were small but the food was goodBut the all time beyond turning us off , was we were still having our coffee and some dessert left when the host came over and never asked if we want more coffee or anything else, BUT didn’t and just threw the check on the table and took what was left in our desserts away!!In all my dining experiences, never had anything like this!!!! Beyond embarrassing to say the least!!!!Probably would never dine here again based on this experience

Lita lived up to the hype. It's a great dining experience. Fun to watch the staff do their jobs in an organized and professional manner. We experienced back of house working front of house as is part of their training experience for staff. Chef Mike was polite and professional in answering our questions about the food and giving us nice descriptions of the food - I was sure to take advantage of the chefs being at our table to get an understanding of what I was ordering. What a unique and exciting experience knowing this rotating style of restaurant staff management. Tables were spaced well, comfortable and allowed for an intimate setting to enjoy a meal. We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the bartenders prepare our drinks. My wife's enjoyed a sangria, and I had the "Rosita" NA highball which was interesting - strong bell pepper punch followed by a sweet strawberry lemonade flavor. Moving to our table we were greeted by Chef Mike who explained the menu and gave us some time to decide our choices. My wife's duck croquettes were crunchy and oozing with savory flavors inside. A truly fascinating bite of food. I had the Patatas Bravas (spicy potatoes with paprika aioli and smoked trout roe), very tasty. We also paid for the bread because I love bread and it was crusty and savory with a beautiful horseradish butter. The skewers of olives and pickled hot peppers was fun to have as a person who used to enjoy Martini's. Moving into our next course, we had the Vieiras "A Bulhao Pato" (Bay scallops in white wine and garlic sauce) - which was divine and had little bites of bread that soaked up the sauce and added some texture to your sweet bay scallops. I had the Polvo com Chorico (Octopus) which was wonderfully charred and smokey and cooked perfectly. I had the "Alentejana" pork, and it was described as the wagyu of pork - boy was it. So tender and packed full of that smokey charcoal flavor. Cooked perfectly medium and pared with pickled hot peppers and potatoes that absorbed all the flavors from the plate. It was a spectacular dish that packed flavors and textures very well. My wife's Arroz de "Lulas" had rice that was spicer than she likes (which I loved), and the octopus was not charred from the grill like my second dish was. It wasn't bad but it wasn't what my wife expected, and she probably would have asked more about it if we went back. Honestly, if I heard it was spicy, I would have switched my second plate with my wife, and we would have been perfect - small personal details.
