“Aldi is a small quirky grocery store, and the best place to save money on groceries. I was resistant to try it because I didn’t know if my kids would like eating “store brand” stuff. But they loved everything I brought home! Aldi has a good selection of organic food, produce, meat, and specialty items. The prices are 50% less than ShopRite or Acme. I will never go back to shopping anywhere but Aldi. Be sure to bring your own bags and a quarter for the shopping cart.”

In the back they have a huge butcher shop with all kinda of freshly cut meats, chicken and seafood by pound. Moreover, they have full bakery shop with all kind fresh breads, croissants and sweet breads wit different creams like strawberry and cinnamon. They also have cakes...got a delicious 3 Leche cake..outstanding service and friendly staff.”

“Thank you for the great buys on the specials flyers! Cheaper than Acme on many products! As a year round senior resident I must watch what I spend. Convenience and quality count for something and I am glad to pay a bit more for that at times. You must buy with a discerning eye and pocketbook. I love Casel’s fresh produce department. Some products are high but some are very reasonable - again, comparing to Acme. Lox, Nova, Corned beef, off the bone turkey and store baked roast beef are of the best quality- expensive but we should cut back on deli foods for health reasons anyway, so if you eat it once in a while, it’s ok to spend more- or wait for the sales flyer and buy your favorites at huge discounts and freeze. One thing I did find shocking were refrigerated jarred pickle prices. It was $8 more per jar in Casel’s than in a small specialty deli on the mainland. That’s a crazy difference- I hope it was a mistake.”
