I ordered photos online to be printed at the Absecon, NJ Walgreens. The transaction required a credit card for prepayment which I provided. It said the card would be charged when the prints were done or maybe it was when they were picked up. When my uncle went to the store to pick up the photos, he was told they had a balance that he had to pay. Fortunately, he refused and left the store, calling me to tell me what happened. I called the store and spoke to an extremely rude sales clerk. I get it. Nobody wants to work so stores are hurting and can't get good help. Or maybe having too many Walgreens in each town has depleted the labor pool. Anyway, the Store Manager on duty got on the phone and confirmed the photos were supposed to be charged to my credit card -- the clerk just needed to select "Express pay". After we hung up, the manager took it upon herself to call my uncle at the number on the order. She told him what happened and dropped the pictures at his home after her shift. Things happen but Customer Service is about how these issues are handled. I appreciate what the manager did and will continue to use that store when sending hard copy photos.

If it was possible, I would not give them a star at all. Dropped off a prescription here 2.5 hrs ago, I was told it would be ready in 2 hrs. Not only was it not ready, they didn't even have it in stock, no call, no notification NOTHING. Now after leaving an ER and every pharmacy closing in 5 minutes I'm S. O. L. The pharmacist, a woman w/ blonde hair....rude as all hell! Not so much as an I'm sorry...nothing. She made 1 phone call for me and acted like she gifted me the Nile. Then, I go to check out w/ other items and my phone number won't come up in their system, the cashier just says "well, I guess you can't buy that then. I've never come across so many people that are so incompetent to do their damn job!

This Walgreens is absolutely horrible with untrained employees and zero customer service. In July 2022, I needed a PCR COVID test for a medical procedure and scheduled an appointment for the drive-thru. I had an Rx and I knew my insurance fully covered a monitored test. When I got there I was told that my insurance refused to pay for it and the test (which I needed) was $128.99 out of pocket. I paid, completed the test, and subsequently spoke to my insurance company who confirmed that the test should have been fully covered, with no out of pocket. It appears Walgreens submitted it improperly, which is why it was denied. Now, if I am lucky, I might get a partial reimbursement from my insurance. I had several conversations with the store, including the manager, to try resolve this and I got absolutely no where. They could care less and assumed no responsibility. The lack of professionalism and customer service was pathetic. I will never do business with any Walgreens again.
