This nature preserve is a really beautiful spot to hike. There's a small parking lot near the entrance that can fit maybe 6 or 7 cars, so you might have to park on a nearby street. Beautiful swampy area with several bird watching platforms, benches, and small boardwalks throughout the large loop that surrounds the swamp. There are also a few smaller loops that branch off the larger one. Awesome spot for bird watching. Very relaxing and peaceful, but surrounded by neighborhoods so it doesn't feel too isolated (which for me, is a plus). Highly recommend checking it out!

Felt very safe, super welcoming for families with kids, couples, etc. for a short walk around the pond. Encountered a few deers maybe 10 ft. from the trail, lots of different birds. Like that there are random benches to sit and raised platforms to get views. Recommend if in the area.

Celery farm is a good place for an easy stroll with pond views and lots of greenery. The path is very well maintained, with wooden bridges in some places and raised platforms to take in the scenery. It can get very muddy after rain. There is a small parking lot but it fills up fast.

Walking trail only (no running or bikes). Beautiful and serene place with a few lookouts to view the waters.

A beautiful spot in northern NJ with no dogs, no BBQs, no fishing or hunting... just nature and the trail and you. The wide variety of birds and other wildlife here becomes very apparent after only a few minutes. Do bring your camera, binoculars, and comfy shoes for light hiking though mostly dirt trails. Don't forget a hat and mosquito repellent during relevant seasons.

Hard to see the parking lot from the road--their website gives the best directions to actually get there. Nice views of the lake and lots of opportunities to see different birds. The path is rather muddy so dress appropriately; otherwise a nice place to walk, talk, relax on their benches, and see some local wildlife.
