“This my go to place for any home furnishings. Most of what is sold here is 70+ years old and was built to last. They are open Saturdays 12-5pm and by appointment other days. This place is overwhelming at first, but Gene, the owner is very knowledgable and can guide you to what you are looking for.”
“If you are looking for the newest romances you saw on an app, I am happy to say that this place will not provide. Walking in, I was happy to see a large collection of older books, and found that they seemed to curate a collection of less common books, with a good mix of both new and old. The prices are fantastic for what they have, and while not everything even fits on the shelves, they also have cases of collectible versions of some things. My husband and I happily walked out with a handful of things all on the older side to add to our home library, and we are looking forward to making regular stops in to see what they get in.”
“Delightful place. Small, but packed with incredible finds. There is a wide range of prices, but there are very reasonable finds alongside more expensive splurge items. They also deliver which is a massive plus! Love it and will be back!!”
“I hesitate to give away one of my favorite hidden gems of antique inspiration, but they deserve the love. You won't find them burning up the social media, but you will find unique items priced to sell. Over the years I've bought clocks, bookcases, Eastlake mirrors, and even the top of a Victorian pump organ that was later transformed into a range hood for my kitchen. The vibe is unpretentious and the deals are real. Be sure to let the older gentleman "Chief" assist you. He keeps a little notebook and if they don't have what you are looking for that day, he will call you when what you wanted finally shows up at the shop.”
“If you are looking for something special and unique, Olde Country Antiques is the place to go! Carol and Steve are very knowledgeable and welcoming. They are located just off the NJ Turnpike, easily accessible from just about anywhere you are coming from. They put quality items in their shop and priced so everyone can enjoy these timeless treasures! I love going there to see what is new. Stock is always fresh. If you see something you love, grab it before someone else does! Definitely worth the trip!!”
“We have just discovered this extremely interesting little shop, the owner is absolutely kind and welcoming. The little vintage items are too cute not to buy, candles we could buy them all, interesting handmade jewellery made of glass... it's just a must in Allentown.
The shop is located in one of the many od buildings and preserves the original shape under the new finishes. The lady was so kind and also told us a little of the building's history while we were browsing.
Prices are fair, and military discount is available. Recommended!”
