LOVE everything about this little hidden treasure. The food is amazing, the staff is beyond friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect and cozy. The location is great, near a bunch of antique shops within walking distance.

Everything about Lake House signals comfort and charm. On a recent Saturday afternoon, my sister Renee and friend Jason and I enjoyed a wonderful brunch and settled into each other’s company. Several cups of coffee in…. And having opined about everything from the music scenes in the tri-state area to the challenge of becoming a minimalist and tons more “coffee tawk” in between, we vibed with management and were treated like FAMILY. Three thumbs up!

What a fantastic find! My husband and I were looking for a quick bite on our way to Open Box Shop. We were greeted by Terry (a lovely man who I think will be my new bestie!) We decide on soup to start. My husband had split pea with ham and I had an incredibly flavorful chicken with white bean and spinach. They were both so good. My husband had the chicken cutlet with smashed potato croquettes and cheese. He enjoyed it a lot and it was enough for a lunch and dinner! We will definitely be back!

Tucked away in a very old building is a small cafe with a fireplace & a casual breakfast/lunch menu. Our waiter was very nice with an Irish accent & we started w/coffee & iced tea. I had the avocado toast with poached eggs & my husband got bacon & eggs with sourdough bread. We both enjoyed our meals & my husband really liked the hash browns that were chock full of onions & green peppers. Service was good & the place was nice & homey. Don't let the dilapidated parking lot deter you - check this place out!

I found the lake house cafe while i was visiting the area. I wanted a coffee shop and i was surprised that the only options were Dunkin’ Donuts and Starbucks. But just my luck i found the only real coffee shop in the area and it was Lake house cafe. The menu they had offered a diverse array of dishes crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients, showcasing both creativity and culinary expertise. I ended up ordering there crepes along with my espresso and the flavors harmonize perfectly. The service at the lake house cafe was fantastic. If you are in the area and looking for that quaint cozy coffee shop the Lake house cafe is the place to go. I highly recommend this establishment. Plus if you love antiquing there are a lot of store within walking distance.

Came in around lunch time on Saturday and was able to get a seat immediately. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Restaunt is clean and the decor is vintage.Ordered the eggs benedict and the blueberry orange ricotta pancakes. They ran out of the Canadian bacon for the eggs benedict so I opted for the homemade ham and it was delicious. The eggs are a bit runnier than I'm used to but wasn't a big deal since everything else was delicious. The hollandaise sauce was perfect on top and loved the crispy potato side. Both seasoned perfectly. The pancakes are on the smaller side compared to some breakfast places but it tastes darn good. The blueberries were fresh and the orange ricotta gave it a bright sweetness.Their coffee is also top notch and the large parking lot outside makes coming here a breeze.

Stumbled across this place and was more than pleasantly surprised! We are always looking for a spot to grab a bite with our 3 little girls. It can be tough enough to find a spot, but even tougher to find a place that has food that 7,4,&2 year olds will eat, as well something mom and dad will enjoy! The breakfast and lunch menu along with the specials were FANTASTIC! Genuine, helpful service and a very cozy feel to the place! We will be back often!Kid-friendliness: Family restaurant
