Hi! Just wondering what the store hours are. It’s not listed on Facebook or Google- I bought some shoes and makeup here a few years ago that I absolutely LOVED. But whenever I come to Asbury I feel like the store is always closed when I walk by :(

I was browsing swimsuits and am an avid vintage style swimsuit connoisseur. I have the exact bathing suit I was looking at and wanted to replace mine in my size. The owner came up to me and said that was not my size, and went to a rack with suits that were 4 sizes larger than what I typically wear. I understand vintage cuts are smaller but she insisted she knew my size better than I did. I felt very judged, disempowered and disrespected. I understand vintage sizes are smaller but it was the way in which she spoke to me that was very painful and rude. If you truly believe you are a size inclusive store maybe try and listen to your customers instead of bullying them.

Absolutely loved this place the second I went in there! The staff were super friendly and helpful with finding the right size bathing suit for me. They were also very patient and I appreciated that very much. I’m really insecure about my body and it’s often difficult to find things that flatter me but they were super understanding and were a huge help when finding a good material and pattern! It’s definitely a bit on the pricier side but if you saw how incredible these designs are you would understand. I ended up purchasing an orange, blue, pink and white 2 piece that fit like a glove and was super flattering. LOVE IT!! :))

New Orleans is now also cursed with this business. It is a an overpriced store of questionable quality with amazingly bad customer service. The owner Tara is very very pushy and operates on an antiquated "No Returns" policy usually reserved for shady used car lots. Despite the dress pattern smudging after a couple wearings, my GF was still ok with that purchase, however Tara also pushed 2 ridiculous pairs of glasses,.lipstick and a purse into the sale. Returning sunglasses that have never been worn, even if it is just for store credit would be the least a shop owner should do, but no. Instead, the owner fell back on "it's a store policy" even though it is her store and she made up the policy. I guess this is the kind of business practice that should be expected when you are not actually a shop keeper, but a failed cabaret singer.
Edit... You feel defensive because you know you are in the wrong. Thats why you have a policy not even Walmart agrees with. Making up stories about me shouting or getting even 10 feet from you is no help. Good luck on your New shop in N.O. ...it's not New Jersey.

The woman who owns this place is one of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered. I’m literally in there trying things on and she tells me they’re closing soon and I need to leave. The guy who was helping me says we’ll be quick. I try to hurry up and she’s outside my dressing room saying they don’t have time for this. I felt so awkward. Like why let me into the store, help me pick things out and set me up in a dressing room if you’re that pressed for time. I ended up walking out. A few hours later I walked by after eating dinner and the place was still open. To this day I have no idea what the hell happened and why I was pushed out of the store.

HORRIBLE: This is definitely a shady operation. Why are all sales final? I believe the dress I purchased was previously worn. It had some stains. When you call the store you are always forwarded to voicemail. If you leave a message, no one calls you back! The clothing is way overpriced. NEVER NEVER NEVER will I buy from them. Shame on you! You should at least have the decency to call your customers back. Well I guess they figure, all sales are final so that's it! No regard for customer satisfaction.!

Such a fabulous and unique clothing boutique! I would buy the whole store if I could. The owner was spectacular and very attentive. She helped me pick a few bathing suits. It was such a fun experience having her bring me her custom pieces she designed and her colleagues were very helpful too. I can’t wait to go back and buy some dresses next

i’ve never seen someone more visibly angry when a customer decides not to buy something as this owner was; it’s extremely off-putting. very odd coming from a business owner, who should know better. every single review of her acting like a petulant child is true. no one will return if you berate all your customers, both in person and online. which is sad because the other workers are great. but i bet it would be so stressful working for her, because the shopping experience here alone is stressful enough. try to actually take constructive criticism and learn from what EVERYONE is trying to tell you or you’ll run your business into the ground.

My mother had a medical episode in the store. The gentleman who was the owner of the store kindly helped her as the one sales associate threatened to call the police. Little does this woman know my mother has a condition where she could seize. To have a sale associate so unempathteic working for your business is disgraceful. It's unfortunate but we will never shop there ever again unless the employees are better managed.

Watched the owner from the boardwalk walk across storefronts and climb on a table which children were eating at. She sang something unintelligible about women and scolded them for belching in a workers face 10 feet away.
