We love to visit Asbury Park, and it just wouldn't be complete without a visit to the Paranormal Tower! The shop itself is always filled with interesting books and accoutrements, staff is friendly and informative, and their events are first rate! This visit, we decided to take the museum tour. We've never done it before, so we were quite excited. Our tour guide Sarah was amazing! She was an absolute fount of information, and she had so many fun anecdotes to share, as well! The tour was well-paced- we never lingered too long, but we were also never rushed. There's quite a lot to see there, as well! My son's favorite part was an authentic plague mask. I really enjoyed the Ed Warren painting, the Annabelle painting, and the doll collection. There's definitely something for everyone from those interested in the paranormal, to those interested in history itself.

I booked a tour at the Paranormal Museum, mostly for my 9-year old, who I thought might enjoy it. I have to say, it really exceeded expectations! He had a great conversation with the guide, Giancarlo, and came away saying it was "the coolest place" he'd ever been. He loved the objects and especially the stories. The staff was super welcoming and sweet and was a great way to spend an afternoon. Highly recommend!

Me and my fiance decided to try out a tour - unfortunately for my wallet, we didn't have 6 people for the tour ticket, so we spent $120 for the tour for just yhe two of us. I always enjoy spooky stuff, so it was neat, and they had a few cool things. I would suggest having a full 6 people for that tour ticket as I feel it wasn't worth that much for the walk through. They do have a lovely bookstore that is free ! I am interested in trying out their ghost tour and joining one of their seances next time !

This is probably the best selection of books I've ever seen for the paranormal. so much so that I found it a little overwhelming but was glad that the options were there. I also did the tour and enjoyed it quite a bit. I can't say that anything extraordinarily spooky happened, but there was one sound I heard come from a case that the guide and one member of my group did not hear. Also while we were near one artifact myself and another member felt our throats going dry which would seem to be due to the artifact but who knows? I did enjoy the tour and the shop though.

Thank you Audrey for hosting my husband and I. This was our last stop before our return to Indiana tomorrow, and we had a very pleasant/ educational experience. Audrey is very articulate and descriptive of the artifacts and history within. This felt very authentic and is a museum if I’ve ever seen one. Asbury, history and present, is definitely a spooky one. We’ll be back for sure

We just went on a ghost tour with Ken and it was really good! He had creepy stories based on true events. Well worth it! Take the family, take a friend, enjoy spooky season in Asbury Park with this experienced and fun crew! You won't be sorry!

So my daughter and I traveled all the way from Philadelphia down specifically so we could go to visit this museum and we’re really disappointed when we walked in and we were told that the museum was open by appointment only. Super disappointed. We walked around the shop for a few minutes, then left our trip was saved only because we found an outdoor market and festival.

This museum and book store is amazing! We did the tour, and it was worth every penny. The collection is so, so interesting, and our guide Aundrea was awesome! This will be a stop for me every time I vacation in Asbury Park.

My wife and I wanted to try something new as we visit Asbury Park quite often. We called the museum and let them know we never have had any type of experience with paranormal activity/ museums. It was suggested that we give the 2 hours inner sanctum a go instead of the hour tour we had been eyeing as well. With that information we went with the 2 hour inner sanctum tour. When we arrived we were greeted by our lovely tour guide Andrea and felt very excited to learn about Asbury Park murders, and artifacts or haunted items from Asbury. Tour started off great by learning about the murder of the young girl who was murdered in the building all those years ago, we were very intrigued. Our tour guide Andrea was great, kind, personable and very nice/knowledgeable overall. I guess we just felt a bit misinformed on what this really was. Essentially this is a museum with a bunch of random artifacts that have been collected over the years with some stories behind them. Some have had some paranormal experiences from the staff/others. That is about it.We had thought this would be like more about the haunted location of the store and a place no one really goes. Despite knowing the higher price we were paying for 2 people, we expected more considering we were recommended by the museum as only two people to do this two hour tour and would not recommend it to others. I would have wished that they recommended the 1 hour tour to get our feet wet, as 2 hours in a place like this is for “experienced” fans of the paranormal. We felt misguided and frustrated by that after calling the museum before booking.

Booked the boardwalk ghost tour for this evening, along with 10 other people. The tour guide was a no show. Very disappointing, as we drove 45 minutes for this tour. No contact from the tour guide. Waited almost an hour. Tried to call, email and Instagram the company, but no replies. None of the other customers received a cancellation contact. Very unprofessional. Do not recommend. Will not visit store or museum either. Don't take a chance on this one.

I booked a private tour of the Paranormal museum for my husband, cousins, and myself. We all had a great time, even with a skeptic amongst us. Our guide was friendly & informative. We also loved the book store/gift shop. Would love to come back! Just wished I lived closer since I’ve always been a huge believer and lover of the paranormal.

A great, weird little shop in the heart of Asbury Park. Books, paranormal gifts and novelties are on the ground floor, and the second floor is a paranormal museum. They also do special events for the holidays. I have not made it to the Jersey Devil fest yet, but I had an absolute blast during the Krampus parade.

I was lucky enough to receive a tour of the Paranormal Tower’s collection as a birthday gift from my wonderful significant other. We had a great time learning about the different objects and artifacts as well as their connection to stories and history both local and National. Our guides were friendly, informative, and created a casual and open experience. Others in our group even shared an experience or two. Highly recommended.

It's a great place to stop by to get a bit of the odd and very odd happenings in the invisible world. And the tours are fact filled with nuances that make you want to delve deeper. Becca the tour guide was knowledgeable and kept it interesting.
