This place doesn't even deserve one star. I was taken there by ambulance in 2018 with what turned out to be aspiration pneumonia. My Dr intentionally neglected me for a week. I was on oxygen and could barely move the spirometer for days. On my first day I didn't have enough oxygen in my blood to have the ability to lift my cell phone. On the third or fourth day I finally saw a pulmonologist and she was exemplary. However, she was infuriated with my Dr for letting "that girl suffer like that." I wish i knew her name bc she was superb. She saw my charts/tests and told the Dr I should've been intubated. I was terrified, suffering, and struggling to breathe for days. I don't know how I survived it. I couldn't even raise my arms to put my hair in a ponytail without my heart rate exploding. When they released me I still couldn't lift my down comforter at home or walk to the bathroom on my own. This hospital is dangerous.Edit: I received a vm from Atlanticare after this post seeking additional info about my experience followed by another vm minutes later instructing me to disregard the first vm. So I don't understand why I'm being asked to call. There is obviously no actual interest.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hospital. The staff were dismissive, disrespectful, and downright rude. To make matters worse, their behavior veered into racism, which is completely unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I advise others to steer clear as well.

This hospital is amazing!! Emergency room, operating room to ICU all staff were compassionate and all did their best to take care of the patient.

The staff here is extremely rude and unprofessional. They’re too busy having conversations with each other instead of helping people. They have no compassion and I do not recommend coming here.

I wish 0 stars was an option. Staff is extremely rude and unprofessional and racist. Staff is too busy socializing rather than actually catering to patients and getting them help. Do not recommend at all!!!! Go anywhere else.

My grandmother was rushed to this hospital via ambulance after having a stroke. The immediate care and compassion we were met with was amazing. Immediately a medical team got to work, spending hours operating and removing blood clots. We were updated every couple hours throughout the whole process. Once transferred into the ICU the care she received was amazing from the moment she arrived and the days leading to our decision to take her home on hospice. The doctors and social workers quickly got everything into the place for us to take her home and make her comfortable in her last days. I will be forever grateful to all the staff for taking such amazing care of a 90 year old woman.

I recently had an issue and had to go to the e.r. I have to say most hospitals I'm usually waiting more than an hour to even be triaged, both times this week the staff had me in and out in under an hour. The nurses were cool. My biggest reason to avoid the e.r. is the wait time... So I was happy!

My 7 yo woke up with serious ear pain in the middle of the night. Nothing was open except for the ER so we went to Atlanticare. The staff from check in to being discharged were great. Very attentive, took us in right away. A nurse gave her a blanket and a stuffed animal for comfort. She was very sweet. The doctor who checked her was thorough and within the hour of being there, we were discharged. Everything went smoothly. Thanks for taking care of my kid at 2am.

Worst hospital I have ever seen. All the staff does is goof off in the hallways making a lot of noise. They are very uncaring. Not very good at their jobs. People have major surgery and two days later they pull all pain meds from you. When you push your button they don't show up for at least 45 minutes. Wish there was a zero rating for better yet a negative one. Like -100. Stay away from this hell hole!

We went to Atlantic City Hospital last Wednesday, was the worst experience that we have in a hospital, everything was dirty, the nurses were rude with us especially one. I hope never go again.

Went in with Covid the staff was amazing they were very helpful it didn’t take to long to be seen and made it an in and out experience

My son was mis diagnosed. He had xray to see if his jaw was broken. They assured him it wasn't. He goes to the dentist and his jaw is broken.
