“Great store to buy cheap clothing. I even got some shirts for 50ct which is crazily cheap these days. It's always worth to take a look and see if there are some good items. Especially if you are looking for clothes and especially t-shirts, you are sure to find something.
The staff was also super friendly and let my store my heavy bag that I carried around all day behind the counter.
They also sell some other stuff like books, toys, DVDs, cutlery etc., but only a very limited amount is available. The store mostly just sells clothing.”

“Our family visited ACUA’s wind farm, wastewater treatment facility and landfill during a summer open house in 2022, and we had the best experience. Alexis and Amy are incredible educators and tour guides, skilled at sharing her expertise and enthusiasm with both adults and children at the same time. Our elementary-age kids enjoyed the tour, and we’re glad they had the opportunity to learn about sustainability and where waste goes. Highly recommend! And it’s free, too! They also have an annual Earth Day event that we would like to attend in the future.”

“A year ago in May, I was at my bottom. I have no drug or alcohol issues, worked my whole life, educated. Yet I found myself homeless. A senior citizen with SS. Yet could not find a place I could afford to live at. The Mission not only picked me up from the ground, brought god back into my life but housed me fed me and treated me with a kindness you just don't find in this world. I wanted to die, But God thru a councelor and a Pastor helped me overcome that. The bad reviews I can tell you are from angry people who refused to follow the very simple and Necessary rules. The mission is very clean, there are no bedbugs nor roaches. I stayed there to my time there was over Almost a year. Rules change ..yes. But the kindness and support doesn't. They give you time to destress and organize yourself. If you are homeless I promise you they help above and beyond. Physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I unfortunately ran my time out. Like I said if you need help this place is a safe haven. Follow their rules, act with responsibility, and you will be helped. That you to all who work there, they treat you with love kindness and respect which is hard to find in AC. God bless you and God bless this mission. .. .K.”
